"Drake Your Money Maker" Top Floor Condo on Edge of Downtown near Deschutes River with Balcony

This top floor condo on the outskirts of downtown Bend is elegant and modern. It sleeps two, has a comfy king bed and features kitchen stoked with everything the Rachel Ray in your party will need. The condo is a short 10-minute walk into the heart of downtown Bend. It's about two football fields away from the edge of the Deschutes River and it's right next to Pioneer Park.

This condo is advertised as sleeping two adults but there's a futon in the living room, allowing you to sleep up to four. Since futons are not known for their comfort, please only consider putting children on it. Please let us know if you plan to bring more than two guests.

The nice thing about 180/181 "Drake Your Money Maker" is that you don't need to drive your vehicle once you arrive. There is free parking at the facility. Once here, you can walk to everything. Bend is famous for its breweries and you can stumble home from several of them. Downtown Bend is full of restaurants, pubs and locally owned boutiques. The very last Blockbuster Video in the world is about a 15-minute walk. We're 22 miles from Mount Bachelor.

Communication was poor, I wanted to check in @ 4pm and they failed to mention it that you must sign a rental agreement and if you don’t sign you don’t receive check-in instructions until after you sign that agreement. There were flys in the kitchen and bathroom the moment we entered the rental. Other than that it was ok.

Overall fine

The location was very convenient for my commute to work. But there was some major issues that they seemed not very concerned about. Such as, first night there went to get into bed and there was a very large area of the bed that was covered in still-wet urine. It was late so I slept on the couch and notified them with pictures about the incident. In the morning, I got a call letting me know that the house keepers would come change the mattress protector and the sheets, never received a simple apology for the fact that there was still-wet urine on my bed! Later that day went to use the microwave, didn’t work. I was told they had to special order the microwave so they brought one up from the office that took up the little counter space I had but was honestly just happy to have a working microwave. Outside of the problems I had the first couple days it was overall a nice place to stay.

I like the location

Appears as the pictures portray. Fireplace puts out nice heat, but there was no remote. Kitchen was very basic. Microwave turns on, appears to function, but food didn’t get hot, so doesn’t work. Roku only. Good space, way better then a motel. Relatively quiet.

Totally dirty apartment and no internet nor tv available

When we checked in we had to clean the rooms and to wash the bed linen. Table was dirty, floor was dirty, pan was dirty, oven was not cleaned. Despite daily calls and despite numerous attempts to speak to a relevant manager nothing really happened. Worst stay we ever had

Good in general. Bed very comfortable. Bedside lamps and tables too low for the bed. Bedside lamps needed dusting. Only natural light are two sliding doors. Door code needed to be entered twice to gain access each time. Ice maker and fridge water dispenser does not work. Could use more ice trays.

The condo was perfect for out visit to Bend. It had a large living/kitchen area. The 2 balconies had a nice park.view. It was 1.5 miles from downtown Bend.. My only complaint about the property was it was located on the 3rd floor. The owner did list the number of stairs..

Cooked old stinky potato in oven, dirty pans and appliances, pee on toilet, water leak near refrigerator. Arrived after 4:00 pm check-in and house keeping person entered room. Asked front desk about it and was told they were final room check.

Convenient Location

I took a trip to Bend, OR for work and found this property. It was near downtown and having never been to Bend wanted to check it out. The price is what initially caught my eye and the property was worth it. Overall, it was an easy and convenient place to stay!

Great for weekend getaway, not for extended work remotely

This spot is solid for a quick weekend trip to Bend. The property manager is very polite and accommodating as well. And the unit was very clean. However, if you're looking to work remotely for an extended period of time with yourself plus a spouse/partner, this unit may not be the best suited for you.
