Very relaxing

In a country village close enough to beaches, this family home is well equipped and comfortable. Hosts are attentive and very helpful. We had a lovely stay.

75TH DDAY tour Basecamp

Lovely quaint house in the small village of Besneville. The property owner lived next door and was very hospitable and accommodating. She greeted us upon arrival and left us a homemade cake which was delicious. There is a small store and bar across the street with all basics perfect for our first breakfast and last night Dinner. DONT FORGET TO ORDER THE CROISSANT'S ! Simply the best any of us had ever had. The town and its residents are warm, friendly and helpful. A gentlemen on our arrival bought us a round of beers thanking us for our military service and our grandfathers giving France its liberation. We would all return again!

Simply stunning!

Despite a very delayed and late arrival the owner of the house gave us a very warm welcome and a tasty homemade cake. The house was simply beautiful, it was like being home from home. The house contained everything needed for our stay. The village is small and quiet, it has a small grocery right opposite the house which is great for basic needs. The village is a 10 minutes car drive away from some of the most stunning beaches, supermarkets and activity centres. We spent half a day river kayaking (very reasonably priced) and visited some beautiful castles and monts. We are a family of 10 with the youngest child being 10 and can honestly say the area and house had something for all of us. Our only complaint would be the squeaky floors which had a lack of insulation, but once you get over it it adds to the character of the house. Would definitely recommend. Thank you for an amazing holiday!

The house was easy to find and set in a small village with grocers just opposite. The house was clean and beautifully decorated and very spacious. The owner met and welcomed us and had made a cake :) The house was well stocked with everything imaginable. It was within easy reach of attractions too. Highly recommend this property

Super sejour à Besneville

Super accueil téléphonique puis accueil chaleureux au gîte. Cette belle demeure est spacieuse et confortable. Beaucoup de vaisselle et couverts. Quand on est nombreux c'est parfait.

Entspannter Urlaub

Die Unterkunft ist ideal für eine größere Familie und für Familien die Ruhe haben möchten. In dem kleinen Laden gegenüber bekommt man morgens frisches Baguette und auch Lebensmittel, die man vom Supermarkt vergessen hat. Zu den Stränden und anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten muss man jedoch mit dem Auto 40-90 Minuten fahren.

Leider sehr, sehr hellhörig. An sich ein schönes Haus. Im Garten leider keine Unterstellmöglichkeit (Sonnenschirm o.ä.). Leider kein Garten mit Wiese o.ä. Haus leider nur bedingt abschließbar. Eigentümer sehr freundlich und nett. Spricht gutes Deutsch und Englisch. Das Haus war nicht besonders sauber. Viele Spinnenweben, tote Fliegen usw. Eine Hrundsaunerkeit ist jedoch gegeben.

A la découverte du Cotentin !

Nous étions 8 adultes. Nous avons profité du long week-end de l'ascension pour découvrir la région du Cotentin. Nous avons adoré et retournerons volontiers en vacances. Le gîte est bien situé entre 30 et 45 minutes de Cherbourg, Barfleur, St Vaast la Hougue.... 10 minutes de Portail où nous avons pu faire du Char à voile. La maison est spacieuse, très bien équipée. Des chambres immenses Merci pour l'accueil agrémenté d'un bon gâteau et d'une bouteille de cidre.

Ancienne boucherie transformée positionnée en face d'une petite épicerie de village (ça peut toujours servir), gîte spacieux, grande pièce de vie, 5 chambres et 3 salles de bain, grand garage. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques. Agréable séjour pour le passage de la nouvelle année.

quiet location, house in the centre of a small village.

Our stay was pleasant and relaxing. The house is situated in the centre of a small village. By car you can reach the beautiful, clean beaches of Normandy in about 10 minutes. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The house is clean; the price/performance ratio was right for us. Unfortunately, you can easily hear noise through the light room ceilings.

grande maison sur la place d'un petit village situé à distance idéale pour visiter le Cotentin. une petite épicerie juste en face qui dépanne bien. le gite est très propre, Nous n'avons manqué de rien. la propriétaire habite à côté mais est très discrète. vous pouvez louer ce gite sans problème.
