We went for Cruisin the Coast so this right on the route was EXCELLENT for veiwing the cruisers . A quick crossing to the Gulf beach so we could fish was also great. The motel itself was kept up with cleaning staff busy and VERY friendly The pool was beautifully blue and a cool extra was a chair lift for disabled! We had a room with a two burner stove which I loved. And even though we requested non smoking room we were put in a smoking room though the linen was fresh and didnt smell.I bring a tart burner and was able to cover up the slight odor of smoking easily.

We stayed 9 days for Cruisin the Coast, the dope smell in the halls were horrible, people fighting & slamming doors all night, the floors in the halls have soft spots everywhere, room service cleaned once in 9 days but never swept floor, only made one bed. We had to go every night to get our own towels & rags, one night no one was even downstairs for us to get any. We paid a good amount for 9 days for this event, the last two nights of the event they decided to call the cops & get us kicked out from in front of the hotel even though we had paid to be at that hotel.

This is a nasty motel, horrible service, disgusting rooms, the halls have dips and soft spots everywhere, and all you smell is weed. We always had to go down for towels, and most of the time it wouldn’t have anyone down there. We barely had hot water We won’t be back!!!

We only stayed 2 out of the 7 nights that we had booked and paid for MONTHS in advance because we had a death in the family and had to leave unexpectedly. BY THEIR POLICY on the check in paper, we notified the front desk BEFORE 8AM to check out and ask for a refund. I was told that I would end up actually owing them money because we stayed 2 nights and had gotten the week at such a good rate that those 2 nights costed what the week was that we had already prepaid for months ago! I mean, thats why you book in advance - to secure a room and get better rates! The manager at this location was very frank and unwilling to help. The location is great and the property was okay; would recommend staying here as long as you don't need any assistance in anything.

My husband and I waited 40 minutes at the front desk to be checked in, just to be told that our room we booked was not available which we paid extra for. They put us into another room, smaller, and there was so much black mold we had to leave and check out early. We got put in a room directly by the elevator, and it was noisy, dirty, and there were ashed out cigarettes in the elevator.
