What a wonderful stay! The Inn has so much character and you can feel and see the history. Area is quiet, staff is friendly. Would definately recommend!

We had a great stay. It was easy to relax in our beautiful, very clean room. Comfortable bed. Enjoyed sitting on a terrace in the morning drinking coffee. Great breakfast. The fitness center and other facilities are very clean and updated. Loved the friendly staff. I recommend upgrading to a room with a king bed versus a queen. The king bed rooms are much more spacious. My only concern would be that noise really carries given the hardwood floors and high ceilings. We stayed on a weekday when it was not very busy, and I'm an early riser so didn't mind, but we could really hear the hotel waking up.

Absolutely beautiful hotel! After asking the extremely pleasant, friendly and wonderful staff about the history I found out that the Inn used to be a Woman's college. Beautiful brick structure with a warm industrial/elegant feel inside. As if you were stepping back in time. The rotary phone in the room is an excellent touch. Outside in the courtyard is a very warm and cozy area with two large brick fire pits and comfortable rocking chairs around extra large tables. I was in town for parent's weekend at Longwood, so I wasn't able to see what the actual town of Blackstone was like. However, I would HIGHLY recommend this quaint and elegant Inn, as it truly is an Inn and not a hotel experience.

Convenient to Lake Phoenix. Clean rooms, quick breakfast. Unfortunately the waffle maker was broken :( Staff is always friendly. Love the historic items around the facility.

The room was very nice. I appreciated the little refrigerator. The pool, work out room and location in a historic place were excellent. I thought the breakfast was a bit average.. no fresh fruit was offered. I expected a more friendly reception. There is room for improvement there! Also to note that the place is large so there is quite a walk to the rooms which is not so good when you have a number of things to carry to your room and you are a senior.
