Sijaitsemme piilossa olevalla bluffilla umpikujan päätyttyä eteläisen Wisconsinin ajelehtimattomalla alueella lähellä suosittua turistikohdetta New Glarusia, Amerikan Pikku-Sveitsiä Wisconsinin kreivikunnassa.

Kiinteistö lepää kypsien tammipuiden osastolla, jossa pihalla laiduntavat kalliokalliot, hirvieläimet ja kalkkunat. Se on luonnon ystävien unelma!

2600 neliön jalka 3. 5 kylpy hirsitalo istuu 40 hehtaarin. Kodissa on neljä tilavaa makuuhuonetta, joissa on muhkeat vuoteet, iso tilava kansi puiden latvoissa, nopea internetyhteys ja pääsy yksityisille kävelyreiteille, jotka kulkevat metsän läpi kalkkikivirakkujen ja pölyttäjien preerioiden avulla. Kodin sisustus on vuorattu mäntylaudoilla, jotka antavat miellyttävän aromin ja lisäävat luonnetta lisäävät hyttiä, mutta koti on hyvin varusteltu ja siinä on kaikki ominaisuudet, joita todennäköisesti tarvitset.

Sieltä on helppo pääsy Yellowstone Lake Lake -puistoon ja villieläinalueisiin, ja siellä on monia muita mahdollisia virkistysmahdollisuuksia, kuten patikointi, pyöräily, kalastus, melonta, veneily. Yellowstonen järven villieläinalueella on jopa metsästämistä, vuodenaikoina ja vapaa-ajan ammuntaa hyvin hoidetussa, kustannusarvossa.

Steve was an amazing communicator.The cabin and property was wonderful. Everything was very clean and the house was so well stocked. We spent full days sitting by the gas fireplace watching birds and wildlife, and taking advantage of the bright light for reading and crafting. We had lovely walks around the property, and thoroughly enjoyed the sun room with the gas fireplace. Even the drive up to the house is beautiful. What a lovely place to stay - wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely come back.

The host was very nice to show us everything and explain details. He was thoughtful and shared information about the history of the area. Amenities were very good and everything was clean, thoughtful details, information about the area, menus for local restaurants, etc. Kitchen was well equipped and we had a very comfortable stay.The hiking trails were fun and we enjoyed exploring the driftless landscape and terrain.The bird feeders and bird watching was outstanding!We felt comfortable, safe, and "at home". it was a memorable family holiday!!

Steve was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and did a great job showing us the property and the home. The location is absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The house was very clean and exceptionally well stocked with everything we could need. The beds were comfortable, the water stayed nice and hot during the cold nights, and the cozy cabin living room made it the perfect place to relax. We even found ourselves becoming bird watchers during our stay! Being able to step outside, go for a hike, and get some fresh air was a huge bonus. We truly loved our time here and would absolutely stay again.

This was an amazing stay, not only because the house was great but because of having such a wonderful host. There was a snow storm during our stay, he was very considerate and plowed the drive in the morning for us. We had a wedding to attend that day and he messaged us to let us know it was getting bad out and to head back. I truly believe if he had not done that we would have not made it back to the house. They also offered for us to stay one more day at no cost if we needed to wait out the storm. What a wonderful host and overall person. I will be back for sure. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Was great having an in person welcome from owner !Everything was clean and tidy and accessible!Even fall decor !Awesome bedroom space and quality full size mattress !Board Game selection is cool Our only thing is we would have preferred a bit larger living room space or maybe more comfy furniture with big ottoman!But was minor compared to all we enjoyed !We also liked the simple closing instructions!

If you are looking for solitude, this is the place. It is well furnished and appointed, all you need to bring is food. If you do not wish to cook, there are several great restaurants within easy driving distance. If you get up early in the morning, you will be treated with the sounds of several owls calling from the woods. A truly great place to unwind, relax and enjoy some quiet time with your family.

The property is stunning! Hiking trails right off the front door that are nicely maintained. The house is clean and like home away from home, everything you could need is provided. The owner lives on the property, far enough away you dont even know they are there, but close enough to help if needed. Pets are welcome, just beware there are no fenced areas and wild animals abound. There is even a paddock for horses, it would fit four horses comfortably and is fully grassed with a water trough, however, I would bring electrical fencing to keep the horses off the fencing there. The other nice thing is the property is tucked away from main roads and has only a private drive entrance.

The lodge is a wonderful place that is perfect in every way. Lots of room,yet still cozy enough to spend time with family and friends. It is great that there is a window in the kitchen that allows you to interact with those sitting in the family room who are watching tv or just hanging out. A wonderfully large deck with grill and blackstone available is also there. Having a firepit located on the property was also a wonderful feature that we enjoyed. Steve is a great host who is very prompt at responding and very easy to work with. This is our second visit and probably wont be the last!
