My husband and I just spent a week here with another couple, their 17 yr old son, and our dogs. The home was cute and cozy, and it had everything we needed. There was ample space for us, and we loved the small touches that the cabin had. We were able to make our meals, and even the pots and pans were in good condition, which is rare in most of the places we've stayed. Bonus, they have both a coffee maker and Keurig!
We did have a few concerns, which is in no way a reflection of the cabin itself and owners.
1. Cleanliness - while everything appeared clean on the surface, everytime a dog toy went under one of the (lifted) beds or chair, we pulled out what looked like another creature with the toy. In addition, on the smaller bed downstairs we found 2 blood pressure pills. While we get not remaking an unused bed, simply running a hand over the bed would have found the pills. There are also dead and live bees in the light just above the beds downstairs.
2. Beware of the neighbor across the creek. He claims to own the whole section of the creek, stating you can't fish there, which isn't true.
3. When walking the dogs off the property, be
aware of drivers flying down the dirt road.
None of the concens negatively impacted our trip. We really evjoyed our stay and would recommend the cabin.
