There's a cottage named after a Tragically Hip song, where every bedroom door you open is
another song title — and somehow it never feels like a gimmick. It feels exactly right. I fell in
love with Fiddler's Green the moment I walked in. It sits in the heart of Bayfield, a short walk
from everything and a world away from the noise. I brought this place into the CottageStays
family because I believe a great Canadian getaway should feel like one: warm, a little proud,
and entirely your own for the week. Pull up a chair at the long dining table and stay a while.
That’s the whole idea.
INSIDE:
I love walking into a kitchen that’s actually ready for you — and I’ve made sure this one is. The
galley kitchen runs the length of the wall, separate enough that whoever’s cooking stays in the
conversation, and it’s stocked from the Keurig to the big plates you’ve been waiting to set out.
The living room has an electric fireplace that earns its keep on cool evenings and a Smart TV for
the movies you keep meaning to watch. The dining room table with its bench and seven chairs is the heart
of the cottage. Someone will be there all weekend

OUTSIDE
Outside, you'll find a serene outdoor deck with a BBQ so you can grill up some steaks while enjoying the peace of Bayfield. There is ample seating and another nice dining table so you can all eat together. Afternoons here are usually spent playing a game of basketball, or enjoying an afternoon nap in the hammock
There’s also a private lounge area with café lighting so you can chat/laugh into the evening!
NOTE: there is no firepit here
The property is also within walking distance to Tuyll street where you will find several beach accesses. The lakebed can be sandy or stoney depending on what the lake gives you that day. But it sure is fun to try to find the ever changing sandbars. Generally you will find sand 3ft out. It's fun to go stone collecting - Lake Huron is a geologists paradise! Just bring some water shoes. The nice thing is, it's not weedy or slimy at all.

ABOUT YOUR HOST
I'm Jennifer, I started CottageStays to share my own home with like-minded travelers who appreciate escaping to life at a slower pace. I've never forgotten how lucky I am to call Lake Huron home. Now more than ever, everyone is in need of the kind of peace and quiet that escaping to the lake can bring. It's my absolute privilege to be the one to provide families and friends a special place to gather and create memories while exploring an area so near and dear to me.
