Tervetuloa mökille Roads Endissä, joka sijaitsee yhdessä Boothbayn sataman halutuimmista kaduista. Tämä yhden kerroksen, 2 makuuhuoneen, 1 1/2 kylpylän ympärivuotinen mökki / koti on kävelyetäisyydellä kävelysilta ja kaikista keskustan mukavuuksista. Nauti esteettömistä näkymistä satamaan sekä sisätiloista että uudemmasta ulkokannesta. Hemmottele itseäsi upeilla läntisen taivaan auringonlaskuilla, ja sieltä on näkymät New Englandin vanhimmalle jatkuvasti toimivalle Lobster Poundille. Makuuhuone tarjoaa täysin yksityiset näkymät metsän metsä, täynnä laululintuja ja perhosia, ja sisältää kylpyhuone 1/2 kylpyhuone ja vaatehuone, sekä pääsy wrap-around kannelle. Erillinen pesutupa (mudroom / ruokakomero) on kätevästi aivan keittiön ulkopuolella. Tulet aarteen tuloon tämän ihanan tien, josta on näkymät merelle! Kaupungin suosituimman ankka-lammen vieressä voit nauttia vauvan mallardista, yön haikaroista ja satunnaisista kotkista, jotka ovat ulkokannen mukavasti. Rentoudu yksilöllisen kangasvärin alla, jossa voit ihailla katsomassa satamatoimintaa kausiluonteisista ilotulitusvälineistä windjammersiin ja hummeri-veneisiin!

Boothbay Harbour on ainutlaatuinen, sillä se tarjoaa matkailutarpeita, kuten monia kauppoja, ravintoloita, gallerioita, venematkailuja, saariretkiä ja festivaaleja, sekä kaiken toimivan kaupallisen kalastuksen ranta-alueen. Katso kuin hummeri veneitä vetää ja purkaa saaliinsa aivan etupiha!

Nice Cottage - not on the water

We had a lovely stay in BoothBay Harbor. The town, people, food and surroundings are amazing! The cottage is at the end of a road, not on the water as the description might lead you to believe. The owners keep the cottage very clean and the checkin process was very smooth. We fell in love with the town and will visit again - but we'll look for a lake house next time.

Perfect harbor cottage!

Wow, what a great experience! Beth was so kind and communicative throughout the booking process and our stay. The house was beautiful, comfortable and so clean. The natural light from the family room and views of the harbor were great! We definitely want to return in the future!

Excellent Location

Easy and pretty walk to downtown Boothbay Harbor. Enjoyed the ducks in the pond next door. The house was well stocked with all we needed. Beth was very responsive to our few questions.

Sweet Cottage Walkable to Boothbay Harbor

We loved everything about this sweet little cottage that looks over the water and a working lobster dock. It is at the end of a beautiful, leafy street lined with older, stately homes, and it’s walkable to restaurants, lobster wharves, etc. The cottage is well appointed and comfortable, from the thick, fluffy towels, to the cozy furniture, crisp linens, and nice deck furniture. Communication with the owner was excellent; she was very responsive and clear. Highly recommend for a small family or couple who wants to be close to Boothbay Harbor, yet have some peace and quiet in a nice neighborhood.

A Great Place to Stay

We enjoyed our visit to Boothbay Harbor and liked the house . The accommodations were cozy and comfortable plus we enjoyed a view of the sunsets. We spent time sitting on the deck reading and were pleased to find there was a grill we could use. The cottage was just the right size for four people and had comfortable beds. The house was equipped with all that we needed . We liked the neighborhood and found that we were close to the downtown area. Our favorite activity was watching the ducks that were fed every morning near our cottage.

Fantastic location and cottage

This is the perfect location, on a dead end road with views of sail boats gliding by! VRBO Pictures do not capture the true charming nature of this cottage. Beds were comfy, kitchen had everything to be able cook in! The deck was our favorite part, with views of the water as well! This is a 5 out of 5 on all levels!

Disappointing

Gorgeous view of a working Lobster fishing operation that most days started at 4:30. -5:00 am. Very loud and noisy .Poor attendance to provisions in the house. We had to buy all paper products, salt,pepper,coffee cups that you could drink out of! I text the owner for Resturant recommendations, no reply. Lot of time dealing with “how to turn the Television on”. The owner sent her son over to help. He was there maybe 30 seconds ,pushed some buttons. But he failed to show us the last one to turn it on? Beth did offer to drop by but we were walking out the door for a dinner reservation. Very dangerous porch railing on right side. We loved Maine and our 18 days in Boothbay but not the house or uninvolved owner!

Home away from home

Loved this spot so much did not want to leave. We met up with adult children and their daughters. The neighborhood is very sweet, and the girls were happy to ride bikes and met other young kids who were happy to see them as well . Can walk everywhere, which we did and thoroughly enjoyed. The lobster boats start early no doubt, but as an early riser it wasn’t an issue we appreciated the working harbor rather than just a tourist town. The cottage is a gem, well stocked with just about everything you could need, hassle free check in and out. Beth is an amazing host, appreciated her local knowledge and she is quick to respond. Next time it’s just me and my husband 😉

Decidedly good stay

My family of 4 stayed in this lovely Boothbay home for a week. The neighborhood is charming and the deck is a great feature. The walk into town is easy with picturesque views but if you don't feel like walking the drive is easy enough with plenty of inexpensive (or free) parking options depending on the time of day. Bring your favorite coffee for the 12 cup drip machine and you should find a good variety of basic spices and oils for budget saving meal nights. We had a number of meals at the house and he only kitchen item I felt was missing was a large microwavable glass or ceramic bowl. (for heating larger quantities). The linens and towels were ample and of good quality. The beds were comfortable too. The futon was too firm for me but my 12 year old slept on it one night for a change of pace. There are a few extras like playing cards, binoculars and a small, random collection of books and games. It might be nice to have a guestbook. Checkout was easy (throw in some towels if you can) and not arduous at all. The best thing about my stay (besides the bucolic view) was working with Beth to arrange my stay. I had to interact with her a few times and found her to be kind and responsive and flexible.

Sweet cottage with great view, walkable to town, and full of niches to relax in.

The colorful sunsets, views of harbor, location adjacent to duck pond and lobster pound are just a few of the things we really liked. The kitchen was small but well stocked, the deck perfect to enjoy August in Maine (bring citronella candles), and the beds and living room were very comfy. We walked into town, went out to breakfast, and enjoyed walks throughout town.

Beautiful cottage, fabulous sunsets from the deck!

The cottage is small and cosy but perfectly formed. The main room is well furnished and bigger than it looks in the pictures. I loved the dining table in the window with the beautiful views of the harbour. The deck is fantastic and we enjoyed many sunsets over the harbour and delicious meals on the BBQ. We loved the location down a quiet private road (with a duck welcoming committee!) but it was still close enough to walk in to town and enjoy all that Boothbay Harbour and the surrounding area has to offer. Our favorite activity by far was kayaking around the harbour and there was much to amuse us and our 3 year old. There is AC but it's only one unit in the main room, none in the bedrooms, which made it very hot over night, despite the fans provided. In addition curtains are needed at least in the kids room. There are only blinds and the sun rises early in August. It was very bright in there and after the first day wake up call at 5.30am we ended up covering the window in Reynolds wrap for the week!

Cute Cottage in Boothbay

This is a really nice property. It is small but mighty. Great amenities, soft, plentiful towels, well stocked kitchen, soap and paper towels, everything you need to start a great getaway! The location can't be beat, close to restaurants, nice water views and a duck pond next door!

Lovely retreat in a key location in Boothbay Harbor

Our family completely enjoyed our week at this property. It was well appointed, we needed NOTHING. It is a 15 minute walk down the hill across the foot bridge and into the center of town. We would all happily return for another retreat! Thank you so much for having such an amazing place to call home for a week!

Great Spot!

We had a lovely time at this property. The house is just as the pictures posted and the location is the best spot in Boothbay. Walk everywhere. We were very blessed to be able to attend mass one day at the beautiful church of “Our Lady of Peace”, close distance from the house. Wonderful views of the sunset! Very clean, nice beds, great quality linens and towels. Beth was very attentive to our questions and requests & even help with tips about the area. Like other reviews, kitchen do need some work to match the rest of the house but is fully functional. It’s very nice to watch the actions in the harbor from the porch, but all the the access to the ocean around the area is private property, including the harbor, don’t expect to get too close. Overall, we love our stay. Definitely recommended!
