Les Capucines is ideally located on the St Michel side of town, in the center of all Bordeaux's tourist attractions.
The Saint-Michel district, built around the flamboyant Gothic basilica dedicated to the archangel, is the city's liveliest and most colorful district, in the shadow of its bell tower, the highest in southern France, which for a long time housed famous mummies.
Classified as a historic monument and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998, along with Saint-Seurin Basilica and Saint-André Cathedral.

The Saint Pierre district, a UNESCO-listed historic quarter of Old Bordeaux, is made up of a number of small squares, including Place du Parlement, Place Camille-Jullian, Place du Palais and Place de la Bourse, which are linked by small cobbled streets such as Rue du Parlement, Rue de la Devise and Rue du Pas-Saint-Georges.
A semi-pedestrian district, you'll find it easy to explore Bordeaux. Rue Sainte Catherine, Europe's longest pedestrian street, the Grand Theatre and museums are just 50 m away.

- Car: All parking is chargeable, two public pay parking lots are 600 m away.
- The SNCF train station is a 15-minute streetcar ride from line C.
