The room itself is nice, for the most part. Sheets were clean and appliances/furniture in good condition, but the curtains were stained and musty from smoke. The smell of smoke is very overwhelming - t’s quite clear that people have smoked inside the room which gave both my partner and I a headache. The ice machine was broken and the lobby looked poorly kept. The front desk lady was friendly and prompt.

The room was fairly clean, floors could have used being mopped, bottom of white socks were black from walking on the floor!!! The mattress was hard as a rock, cheap spring mattress or possibly a box springs!!! Took 2 days to get a remote for the TV and extra pillows, and on the second day the key card would not work! Overall, on a scale from 1 to 10, I would give it a 3!!! This was the first time we stayed there & I Would never stay there again! They staff seemed friendly!,

Roach hotel, extremely dirty

I booked this in hopes of an easy & cheap accommodation before an early morning flight. It was neither and the experience was truly rough beyond low set expectations. The general hotel is NOT a Howard Johnson and is independently owned - please note this namesake of some level of quality is no longer there, despite the Google provided assurance. Originally not as many scathing reviews when I booked. The entire room was in poor and unhygienic condition. The linens were dirty (hairs in bed) and mysterious stains on most surfaces. Evidence of pests and roaches left much to be desired. I was not expecting a great experience but nothing this traumatic. The entire building feels unmarked and unsafe in condition. Large debris and trash in poorly lit hallway zones. I would never stay here again, and not recommend it to anyone under any circumstance.

There was no blanket to be found (for the bed) by the office staff. Just had a sheet and a sheet-like bedspread. The mattress was super saggy and had metal springs in it that hurt to sleep on. The bathroom sink was cracked. The doors to the rooms had to be slammed a few times to stay closed (even by the neighbors). The walls are thin, so every noise comes through. The office guy was very nice. The curtains looked as if they've never been washed... White stains on the brown curtains and dirty sheers with cigarette burns.

you have to keep in mind what you are paying .... public areas are looking pretty tiered - but the room itself was great - large with comfy beds, clean and recently decorated . No view - Window onto the corridor but again remember what you are paying! No food on site so come equipped. We arrived in the middle of the night and checkin was 24 hour and easy ..... great onenighter!

I arrived at the counter and the hostess immediately picked up a phone call and lefting me standing at the window for over 10 mins just staring through the plexiglass like I was in a bank. Not very welcoming! After another 15 mins she finally assigned me a room, saying it was just outside the lobby, no directions. I had to figure it out ony own. When I asked if any breakfast service was provided that I could buy, since there were no restaurants nearby, she just stared at me, then replied, "No we don't do that here." She seemed more important gathering my $50 deposit to guard against theft of their "room amenities," which wasn't me turned in the reservations. After i found found my room, I began unpacking. Within 15 minutes, I had killed spotted and killed two cockroaches, after which I promptly requested another room. The second room was just as "clean." No cockroaches, but the drapes had holes and tears in them. The vinyl flooring in the second room was also separating. The carpet in the open-air hallway outside the room looked like it was 10 yeasrs old and never cleaned. The amenities in the lobby also sucked. The only ice machine in the place was broken. The vending machine was empty, and the free newspapers were over a week old. In sum, the whole hotel had this vibe of a motel built in the late 1970s or early 1980s, after which it had never been refurbished or updated. It's really a cringy, unclean one-star motel.

I would not recommend staying here. Our room was in terrible condition — we found a mouse inside and had to chase it out, plus there was a dead roach in the bathroom. The room was located in the back of the property where groups of people were hanging out late into the night right outside our door, and the area was littered with trash. There were no real amenities, the ice and vending machines were broken, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable — hard as a rock on a noisy metal frame that creaked with every movement. Overall, the property felt neglected and poorly maintained. Luckily since we booked through hotels.com I was able to cancel the second night stay and get a refund.

I booked a room for one night and didn’t even sleep there. I Found bugs in my room. housekeeping did nothing but sitting on stairs laughing and talking right outside my room. Then they went into my room while I was out and created trash in my room. Luckily all my valuables were still there but it’s like weird coming back to your room 11pm after you left at 7pm to see a empty cup of water sitting right next on ur nightstand next to all of ur belongings and know for sure you didn’t bring that cup in nor did the hotel even provide cups. Just nasty and disrespectful honestly. Never again, place looks like a crack house

Property is dirty. Rodent traps in parking lot. No front desk but a check in booth. No vending machines, No ice. No coffee. Room odor. Ironing board with no cover. Roaches in room. Worst 2 nights ever spent in hotel. Beware this is not a Howard Johnsons. 8 x 10 sheet of paper on wall stating, This property is independently owned and operated by PREET HOTEL, LLC. Under License from HOWARD JOHNSON This was a family trip, my daughter and family visiting my granddaughter in college. My daughter left after 1 day when they arrived for the first night's stay and a mouse was running around in the room. Stay Away

The pictures online do not match this property. There was no breakfast as advertised. No coffee pot in the room. The linens, towels, floors were all dirty. The towels had hair stuck all over them. The mattresses had no mattress covers. The room smelled of stale smoke. None of the outlets worked. The fridge was covered in ice. The walls and hair dryer were covered in dirt, there was a burned hole in our floor, hair in the drain of the bathtub. The price for the room is overpriced for the conditions of the room and hotel. The hotel is licensed under Howard Johnson but is privately owned. It’s very misleading thinking you are staying at one places but deceived once you arrive.

The room was decently clean. The mattress was completely horrible and uncomfortable. It was on a metal frame that squeaked. You could smell smoke constantly as well as here the TV from the room below. It was completely disgusting outside with trash everywhere. I wouldn’t stay there again if I had to I’d rather sleep in my car.
