What an amazing stay! As we walked through front door we were welcomed with a generous gift basket followed by stunning views of the ocean. Two seals popped up to say hi! The house was so cozy. Excellent space for our family of 6. Comfortable seats/beds. Once settled in took a short walk to the historic lighthouse down the road. Look forward to staying again. A complete gem.

Awesome Communication From The Owners. My Family And I Really Enjoyed Our Stay Here. Plenty Of Room For The Five Of Us. The Generous Welcome Basket When We First Arrived Was Greatly Appreciated And Set The Positive Tone For Our Fun And Relaxing Stay. Everything We Needed Was Provided And Available. Great Stay!

Great Beach House

This beach house was perfect for our family! Scituate is a cute little town and about an hour train ride into Boston. The house was clean and well stocked. The kids loved being on the ocean, climbing the rocks/exploring, and the hot tub (and of course the treats in the welcome basket :) Bob was great at communicating. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful experience!

My family and I had an amazing time in Scituate. The whole experience was effortless. Bob & Barb have a lovely home and have thought of everything a guest would need during their stay. Communication with Bob was easy and began right away. The view is incredible, the neighborhood is perfect for a stroll and there are many beaches to choose from in the area. I definitely recommend staying with Bob & Barb!

Best VRBO ever

Bob and Barb could not have been more accommodating. The house was spotless, the kitchen very well set up for cooking, and the view magnificent. Easy stroll to the local shop for a paper. The welcome basket was a pleasant surprise and all the toys for the grandchildren very thoughtful. Really a pleasant stay and would definitely come back.

Nice little beach house

We enjoyed our stay. Communication was great, quick responses. They were very thoughtful with their provisions. A lot of little touches you don't find in most rentals. That was very nice. And my husband did say the beds were comfortable, something he never says. The 4 stars is for two things. 1. The primary shower is in need of updating/replacement. 2. The AC is portable and while it is in each bedroom, it's noisy. We had good weather and would have loved to open the windows, but unfortunately that would let bugs get in so we had to keep them closed. Otherwise we had a great time!

Colorado Visitors

Bob & Barbara were great hosts. Wind & Rain came through Situate from Hurrican Lee and Bob stayed in continued contact with us to make sure we were ok and not in need of anything. This home is a great location for a nice 20/30 minute walk into town for a little shopping or eating. Thank you for your hospitality.

Fabulous location and view

The home has a wrap around covered porch so you can get breezes from ocean or harborside! It is located within walking distance of Scituate Harbor and all of the shops and restaurants. Lovely hammock to lay in and watch the boats and birds and seals! Perfect location!

Fantastic Oceanfront Home

Great location near Sand Hills beach and lighthouse. Close to main drag with cute shops & restaurants. We enjoyed sitting out on the front porch in the morning and the back deck watching the seals. Bob was a great host and communicated with us throughout the stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Bob and Barbara's house. The location was excellent, within walking distance to town (about 20 minute walk). Great views, nice and quiet at night. Hottub was a hit for the kids.

Beautiful location

We had a wonderful week! The views from this home are unbeatable and the constant sound of the ocean is so peaceful. It’s a stone’s throw from the beautiful lighthouse and jetty’s where we did some fishing (and actually caught a striper!) and at low tide the lighthouse beach is perfect for seaglass hunting. It’s also a quick walk to the harbor full of great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend!
