Welcome to the Dream Escape home! The expansive 4600 square ft. estate - settled right by the riverfront - is secluded from the hustle & bustle of the city, allowing optimal privacy and relaxation for our guests. Although the home is tucked away, it is located one mile away from the National Corvette Museum and two miles away from I-65; in addition to several restaurants, stores, and other businesses within a few minutes. Other popular attractions & museums that the area has to offer include (but not limited to) Mammoth Cave National Park and Beech Bend Water Park. The home is located approximately 50 miles north of Nashville, TN.

Full-sized kitchen not only comes with a standard stove/oven, but also an additional stovetop; along with a large refrigerator, two deep sinks, microwave, and dishwasher. Other smaller appliances include an air fryer, blender, mixer, and coffeemaker (K-cup compatible).

The home holds several amenities that are great for entertainment! The theatre room comes equipped with surround-sound along with a pool table and bar area. Several televisions stationed throughout the home to help accommodate larger groups & families, which includes: the living room, kitchen, downstairs lounge area, and TV's in 4 out of the 6 bedrooms.

The home comes with an indoor sauna ,holds an outdoor basketball court - another good way to get active, but also great for kids & teens!

The outside deck is continuous and stretches from one side of the house to the opposite end; supplied with a pool, grill, and comfortable outdoor seating. The side and front of the home has spacious parking area to accommodate for several vehicles ranging in different sizes.

The house is huge and spacious! It took about a day to figure out where things were. There are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms on the main floor. There’s also a large 1/2 bath and small 1/2 bath. Downstairs there’s 3 bedrooms and then a full bathroom and 1/2 bath. The deck outside is enormous and is in need of repair but overall good condition. The location was great and a lot of room outside the house which was good for the kids to run. Cleanliness: There were several things that were just gross. The kitchen was not clean. There were crumbs on the counter tops and the sinks were disgusting with food caked on it. We opened the dishwasher and it was full of dirty dishes with rotting food. The smell about knocked us out. I ran it twice and the food didn’t budge. I contacted the property manager and said we would clean our dishes but wouldn’t be opening that again. The primary bathroom upstairs had not been cleaned. The toilet was gross. The bath tub had kids undies in it. Like it had not been touched. We had to clean it. I did ask to make sure that the beds had been cleaned. They assured me they had. After we cleaned the kitchen and bathroom, it was better until we realized that the hot tub didn’t work. That definitely should have been disclosed since we booked this house with that in mind. Would we stay again? Maybe. The space was good but the cleanliness was a major issue. The house is a nice older house that needs some TLC.

The host was proactive in reaching out to us to ensure she would have everything we needed available at the house. It was the perfect place to accommodate a large family gathering in town and comfortably fit everyone. The house was very clean and had plenty of space to accommodate 6 adults and 7 children, while each having our own bathroom. Appreciate everything the host did to ensure we had a comfortable stay!

Had a great time. We were a 3 generation family (Grandparents to grandkids) and a dog. Plenty of space (more than the pictures show). The play room (aka mancave) was a big hit. We were disappointed that there was no pool table, but, we enjoyed the air hockey, ping pong, arcade basketball and of course, RoboCop arcade game). We spent every day in the pool (weather was hot and sunny every day). Kitchen was large and had everything we needed. Enjoyed the charcoal BBQ by the pool. Plenty of fresh towels were provided. Played some family basketball on the full outdoor court. We had Walmart deliver anything we needed. Never had to leave the house. Our host was very quick to respond with any questions. Great family vacation, thank you!

The property was adequate overall. The perks were the game room, table space for dining and games, huge living room and numerous bathrooms. The kitchen wasn't cleaned thoroughly and lacked dish towels, rags and usable hot mitts. There weren't enough pans or silverware for a large group, but the property manager met us at check-in with a "care package" of a new pot and pan set, griddle and silverware for our group of 11.The basement has dehumidifiers. You have to empty the water bins 3-4 times a day to keep them running. Not a problem if you're familiar with them, but they were full and off when we arrived. It took about a day to get the damp smell out of the basement. The basement bedroom windows needed to be cleaned out due to bugs. We purchased a home test kit for the pool and all reading came back less than average. The property manager sent a very helpful man to take care of the house and bring kitchen linens. Pool personnel came out and clearly from the strong odor added chlorine. According to the property manager they made multiple trips but they never checked in with us. After retesting the pool the chlorine was still low but all other tests on the test strip were normal We were advised about an hour before check-in that the hot tub was unavailable. The sauna is questionable and we didn't use it. The house has potential to be great but has lots of oddities and needs a good cleaning including the mattresses. I'm unable to attach photos.

Family vacation

This house was ginormous and has a lot of potential to be great. We spent a week here for a family vacation with 7 adults and children ranging from 10-2. The location was great with lots of privacy, 15-20 minute drive to fun different places, and only an hour from Nashville. In general, the home was poorly taken care of and needs lots of TLC. The mattresses were gross and the basement 3 bedrooms were not nice like the photos make them appear. The basement smelled like wet carpet and those who slept down there all were sick, suspecting mold. Trash was never picked up and the pool was not taken care of prior to us getting there, but it was taken care of the last day. The hot tub was unusable and had dirt or mold crates all over it. They communicated, but there was no follow through.

Positives: Large house with lots of room to enjoy family Pool is a good size for swimming Location was great for activities we had booked This could be a great place if more attention to cleaning/repairs were addressed. Need improvements: House needs a good overall cleaning. Ceiling fans were dusty and smoke detector in kitchen had cobwebs all over it. Floors were dirty bc feet and socks were black if you didn’t wear shoes. Mouse droppings under sink when we first arrived that totally grossed me out and just set a bad tone for me. Called the owner and he sent the cleaning lady over who took care of it Pool had not been cleaned and water was stagnant so wasn’t too inviting to get into. We used the net and cleaned as much as we could. Owner was going to send a pool person over, but not sure if they came. Basement shower tub didn’t drain well so had to stand in water while showering. Tub with jets in main bath leaked into basement closet. Got a pot to catch drip and discovered someone else had already done that. Switch plate fell off while using it in bathroom upstairs. Door doesn’t close well in toilet room. Many outlets were loose in the walls. 1 grill was clean, but other outside grills were rusty and not usable for us. No gym as stated in description.

Great house with lots of room for our 3 families. The house with 6 bedrooms, family room, living room, huge dining room and theater room was great for family to spread out and come together!!! And the pool was the biggest hit.

Beautiful Place and room for us all!

Beautiful home, plenty of room for the whole family. Property manager was quick to respond to concerns, but the person they relied on for cleaning/maintenance was not helpful. We cleaned up garbage on deck from last family. I'm not above cleaning up, but at the price for rental, this should be done before we arrive. The one sent to clean up did a terrible job.

expansive property

Relaxing hideaway on the river, but no access to the water to paddleboard or canoe. Very large property & house with room for a lot of people. House has been empty-gnats all over bathroom floors. Yard and fire pit were overgrown making it unable to enjoy. There was no propane for the grill. Hot tub (which was a big reason we rented) was not working-large negative for our group. Had to fill pool that was 6-8 inches low. Contacted owner-he said we were welcome to leave but gave no discount due to issues with the property. Overall - the stay was okay but not great!

Electric current in the hot tub, no weight machines, no host

The worst was when my 2 year old grand daughter was in the hot tub and when the parent touched the water, there was an electric current. Daughter had to put on rubber shoes to get the little girl out. We had to find a local gym because all the weight machines were removed. Garbage from the previous week was piled up and animals were going through it (it was all over the ground). It wasn’t picked up until 4 days later at 10pm. Tried to contact the host and he wouldn’t respond. Twice the cleaning lady told us he was on his way, he never showed. Tonya the cleaning lady was great! Dathan, not great. Oh yeah, the pool heater kept tripping so an electrician came out but couldn’t fix it because ‘the box was locked’. He was called back (by Tonya) to fix the hot tub. He said it wasn’t wired right, would be back with parts. He never showed back up. I asked for a partial refund. Once again, I didn’t hear back from Dathan.

Great house between Mammoth Cave and Nashville

Our family of 6 very much enjoyed our time at this house! It's about a half hour from Mammoth Cave and about an hour from Nashville. There's so much to do between the two areas and Bowling Green also has The Lost River which was one of our favorites! The pool is very large for a private pool and we enjoyed swimming in it every day. The owner is great to work with and is very quick to respond. Very relaxing place to vacation and I highly recommend!

Large house with quiet & pretty location

Vacation for family of 14, including kids. House had plenty of space for everyone and several great amenities, especially the pool area. The outside deck is enormous and there is plenty of seating to enjoy the nature surrounding the house. You can even see a river from the deck. Unfortunately, the house is in need of some maintenance and cleaning, which we addressed with the owner. The house has a lot of quirks, but we had a great time anyways!

Excellent house for a big family!

The house was perfect for a family reunion (7 adults and 4 children). There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The kids loved the movie room and the basement. The pool was clean and perfect for the hot summer days. The house does need some updates, the owner was very honest about the need to repair (the deck boards are popping up, a sink leaked, gate to the pool was broke). But when anything was mentioned to the owner during our stay, he responded and was amazing!! We will be back!!

The Home with it All

Driving down the long flowering bush lined drive, we came up to the home that would be our family vacation home for a week. It was impressive from the outside and didn’t disappoint when we entered. Off the long hallway were a game/video/theatre room with a pool table, a half bath, a large kitchen and also a huge dining/great room. Off the dining room was a well-equipped work out room. The rest of the main floor included 3 bedrooms with another half bath, a jack and Jill bathroom. The master bedroom suite included an office area, an outdoor door to the massive deck and hot tub, a bathroom with jetted tub, a tv over the tub, a shower with several shower heads and a sauna. On the lower level, 3 more bedrooms another bathroom and a half bath, an arcade game, a desk area and a door out to deck and a huge heated pool. Basketball court was also part of the outdoor amenities. The deck over looks a river/creek and the lot is large so it was a peaceful setting. For our extended family of various ages, the property was perfect. After renting various yearly homes through VRBO for over 20 years, this home definitely is one of our favorites. So I highly recommend this home for a family to reconnect.

This house was perfect for our kid free get away. The pool wasn’t clean when we got there but after a quick call to the owner it was resolved. The home is spacious and we really had a great time!

We had a wonderful time and the house was great, the electric went out during a storm and we texted the owner and it was back on within 30 minutes. We had a lot of move in the house and our vacation stay was awesome and could not have had a better time. The pool was way more bigger then the pictures showed Thanks for a wonderful time
