Very very average
This resort is very dated. Smells old. It takes a long time to get from one end of the resort to the other, therefore challenging with little ones.
The morning we were going to check out they began scrapping the surface area around the pool at 7:00 am! Woke up the kids in our poolside room. We had told the kids that they could jump in the pool one more time before we departed, but didn’t realize they were going to be doing construction that morning on it. Would’ve been nice to know. Ended up with some disappointed kids. Mentioned it at checkout but was just told “that’s too bad” and they (reception staff?) weren’t aware of the resurfacing taking place.
Irma’s kitchen is a very nice place to eat. Prices are a bit high.
Resort is not very “accessible” for strollers wagons etc unless you are on the main walkways. Has to carry them up and down several flights of stairs. Some rooms are almost impossible to find, signage is poor in regards to this.
We have come to this area for years and thought we would give this resort a try. It is a bit cheaper, but obvious reasons why.
The indoor pool area’s very nice and as long as this is open, it is worth coming to. If it’s just for the sake of the outdoor pool that you’re coming, then it wouldn’t be worth it.
Wish Craguns much luck in the future but major updates and cleaning need to happen, as well as the other things I mentioned.
For now we will stick with Maddens or Grandview even though they are more expensive it’s worth it
