This was a perfect place for our family to stay in Breckenridge: far enough from town to be away from the congestion, yet right on the gondola route to go up the mountain or down into town. The house is spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. This was our first visit to Breckenridge, and I'd highly recommend the house.

This house was the perfect getaway for our group of of 7. The Shock Hill neighborhood is an ideal location … a short walk to the gondola to get to slopes or downtown. The house had plenty of space for hanging out in the family room, making a dinner in the well-stocked kitchen, or warming up in the hot tub. We were visiting in December when there was not much snow, but the house and the location gave us plenty to do when we were not on the slopes. Our entire group had a wonderful time!

The location was great! Its a short 5 minute walk to the gondola. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and was spacious enough for 8 of us! Plus- the hot tub was perfect after a long day on the mountain!

LOVED THE LOCATION. KITCHEN WAS EXCEPTIONALLY WELL EQUIPPED - ENOUGH TO EASILY BAKE AND PREPARE THANKSGIVING MEAL. COMFORTABLE BEDS AND BEDDING. PLANNED TO WORK REMOTELY FROM PROPERTY, BUT HAD TO GO TO TOWN TO DO SO AS INTERNET IN BASEMENT DROPPED OFF. EVERYTHING ELSE WAS IN EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION. TV'S WORKED WELL, FAMILY ROOM TV COULD BE LARGER. STILL ENJOYED PLENTY OF THANKSGIVING FOOTBALL. GREAT TIME! HOT TUB WAS PERFECT!

Awesome place

Really clean and well appointed rental, extremely comfortable. Grill and spa work great and fit 6 adult and dog easily and comfortable. 8 people would be fine.Great location with 0.2 mile walk to gondola which always leaves about 1/10 gondolas open for people on shock hill getting on. We went on Presidents weekend and had no trouble with Gondola. They even plow driveway for you every morning. Top notch. Highly recommend and would stay there again.

Great ski vacation

The house was spacious for my family of 5 plus my mom. The master is on the top level by itself, and all other bedrooms are on the lower level. Having the half bath on the main (kitchen) level was nice. A two car garage was a huge plus. It snowed a bit almost every night and there was someone to clear the snow for us (sometimes at 4am, so wear earplugs if you are a light sleeper). On our last night it snowed almost 8 inches, and we couldn't find a snow shovel as we were packing up at 6am, I wish I had asked about it earlier in the week but we hadn't needed it. We swept the snow and they said they would put a shovel on the property for the next renters. The management company constantly checked on us via text, I had preregistered everyone through their app so my mom was able to communicate with them herself about a few things that she noticed, nothing major but they were very responsive. As far as the walk to the gondola, it's about 300 feet as described, the length of a football field, slightly uphill, it was a bit of a trek in ski boots and with ski equipment, but still convenient enough that we would leave our skis at the base of the mountain and come home for lunch each ski day. Neighborhood is very private, not a lot of traffic and we never heard our neighbors. I would rent here again. Fireplace in the living room was beautiful and added the perfect ambiance to our holiday ski trip.

Heaven on Earth

This is one of the nicest homes we have ever stayed in. The home itself is beautiful, clean, and has everything you need in it. The hot tub on the deck was so relaxing and the views are priceless. The location is perfect and a short gondola ride to town or to the adventure park on the top of the mountain. The host was very communicative and checked in to make sure everything was going well. We will definitely be back!

Enjoyed our stay

The rental was well stocked and comfortable. Everything was well thought out to make our stay comfortable. We needed fans, high chair, bath mat, rugs for our car, sleds, humidifiers, and they were all found in the rental. This was a great space for our family and shared some quality time there.

Family Fun in Breck

I brought my wife, our 3-year-old daughter, my 13-year-old daughter, my wife's best friend, and her 13-year-old daughter, and we had a fantastic time. The home was in excellent condition and was representative of the photos online. The kids loved the hot tub, and the grill on the deck was a huge bonus. We cooked out most of the nights we were in town. I definitely would consider coming back in the future to this property.

The setting, neighborhood and access to the gondola make it hard to not love this house. Unfortunately, appliances were broken and general maintenance was lacking. We had no dryer and no oven For a ten day stay.

Mostly Good

House was nice but does need some TLC. Ice machine in fridge on last legs as it pathetically generates ice, so we bought three bags of ice to supplement during our stay. King bed in basement desperately needs a new mattress. Most of the crank windows were tough to close. Dishwasher trays out of whack and didn’t always thoroughly clean so it might be time to replace that appliance. All the toilets are low and not “comfort height”. Many of the window blinds were broken and had to be wrangled with or could t be raised at all. During a two-week stay the blinds couldn’t be fixed and the refrigerator water filter couldn’t be replaced. The clothes dryer snagged many articles of clothing on something in the drum and left black marks on those clothes, sheets and towels we dried so that appliance needs attention as well!! But overall we enjoyed our stay and liked that the house had many spices and seasoning’s available. If you rent you have to text the management firm when you need trash picked up from inside the garage as there is no schedule. They were responsive and came twice during our 2- week stay. They don’t recycle but we separated ours and took the recycles over to a Breck recycle location 3 miles away, in week #2. There were plenty of towels for the baths and for the large hot tub. Hiking trails are everywhere. Gondola is only a two block walk. And walking to Main Street was safe and easy and only a little over a mile downhill. We enjoyed walking the dog all over the Shock Hill neighborhood.
