Probart House -

Location is everything! Enjoy a luxurious stay at this guesthouse located one block from downtown Brevard. Located at the former historic Red House Inn, this home has everything from a soaker tub, fireplace, towel warmer, kitchenette, rocking chair porch, king sized bed & pull out twin sofa. Only 1 block from Main St. shops/restaurants/coffee shops/music venues. The Ecusta Trail is also across the street. Cyclists are welcome to use our bike wash and access our private bike storage area.

As advertised! Perfect location in downtown, walkable to restaurants, ice cream shops, breweries, you name it. Sasha was very accommodating, as she had a specific spot to store my bike. Very responsive. I will stay here again.

Excellent location! I walked to dinner, drove to Pisgah for two great hikes and enjoyed coffee on the little porch. Owner communication was outstanding. I will be back!

Perfect weekend getaway

Great location to local restaurants, brewery and music venue and hiking. Very well appointed decor and super comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. Host was very responsive in communication and very kind. We couldn't have asked for a better place. stay.

Too short! Wonderful stay!

My husband and I were visiting for 2 nights. The cottage was perfect! We had some rainy weather so we didn’t get to take advantage of the small walk to downtown but it was right around the corner for those who want to be within walking distance. The shower was wonderful, the adjustable King bed was very comfortable and we loved having the gas fireplace. We did experience a bit of trouble trying to stream a movie, but that was most likely a result of the weather. The driveway is shared with the owners, but they were respectful of our privacy. It was extremely clean and well decorated! We would definitely return. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Awesome cottage and close to everything!

The Probart House was so cute and convenient to everything in downtown Brevard. We enjoyed our walks to nearby restaurants and shops! It was very clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect cottage and perfect location!

This lovely and spotless cottage couldn’t have been easier and more perfect for what we needed … and the location … amazing! All the little details like the beautiful vases of wildflowers didn’t go unnoticed. The location - amazing. EASILY walkable to shops and restaurants (we went to the Bohemian, a wine bar, Morning Social, Kilwins for a later treat), live music (185 King Street), and easy drive to Pisgah State Park. Thank you, Sasha! We would love to visit again!

Comfortable and convenient

This charming little cottage was exactly what we needed for our visit to Brevard for Mountain Song Festival. About 1 mile to the Music Center, so walkable if needed. Also a quick easy walk to Morning Social, the wonderful breakfast spot 1 block away! The cottage was neat as a pin, with fresh cut flowers to greet us. Communication w/ Sasha was super easy, quick and she shared helpful tips too. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch for a nightcap. Didn’t need the heater, but it’s nice that it’s there. Bed is very comfortable, towel warmer in the bath is a nice touch.

Sweet cottage with just the right amount of space for 2 adults. Comfortable furnishings and fabulous bathroom! If we were going to stay more than 2 nights some silverware and a microwave would be a great edition to the tiny kitchen. Loved visiting with Sasha who gave us some history about the beautiful oroperty.

Clean studio in a nice location. No Wi-Fi entire stay and poor communication from host

The good: -host allowed for early check-in -property was in a convenient location within walking or biking distance to numerous restaurants and shops -studio was clean and the bathroom spacious -bike storage on site and very close to bike path -quiet location The bad: -For our entire 2 day stay, we did not have WiFi, so were unable to use a laptop or any streaming channels on the TV. When I notified the host that the internet was was extremely weak to non-existent, her response was "It's working fine for me" and went on to say she has noticed it occasionally goes down for a few minutes. I followed up on the first day by telling her it had been unusable since we arrived, and never received a response.

Ideal Location and Accommodation

we really enjoyed our stay at this well equipped small house. Sasha was a fantastic host. We had a comfortable bed, nice TV, a convenient kitchenette and a beautiful clean bathroom. We could not have asked for more in the heart of Brevard.

Fantastic get away as always…. Love the fireplace and separate sitting area from the bedroom. Super comfy bed and luxurious bath. Walkable distance to town.
