Old design motel but Reno’s done well, restaurant was excellent beautiful food, medley of oysters and a calamari entree with the best medium eye fillet steak on a horse radish potato mash and a good wine selection. We went at 6 pm a service was excellent.

We had 5 nights there, appeared clean on check in, by the 3day and our room hadn’t been made up I complained to staff they said they are doing what management told them. I know it’s not the staffs fault it is the manageress fault. Office never opened and says to ring mobile upon doing so she just says hello so you don’t know if you have Hilltop or not. Housekeeper came to clean cups after day 4 with something that looked like it had cleaned the bottom of a dirty nappy. Took a photo as proof.

On arrival we met with a pleseant staff member who checked us in.The room we had was very clean and cosy.One night in our stay my wife tripped on strip between carpet tiles going to bathroom cutting her foot.Telling the staff of this they appolagised and offered conceren The restaurant was excellent.We ate there the four nights we stayed

We have known this motel since construction in the 1960s. The Wotif review reports guests raving about a delicious breakfast in the property's dining room. When I asked for the breakfast menu and for it be served in room, I was told "we don't do that anymore", and "There are plenty of places doing breakfast in the main street.” We have a nice restaurant!! We had a spa room, there was hair left in the spa. The pocket door into the bathroom was jammed open and could not be dislodged. Clearly this was not important to the owners, who did not apologise at any stage. My wife overheard the owner complaining loudly in a public area that I had the audacity to be displeased. She introduced herself to the owner – but no apology was presented for this rudeness. When we returned to the room the door had been pulled to the closed position, but it would not open fully without jamming. Not fixed, just forced closed, leaving a feeling that the owner had done so spitefully. We persevered with a half size door opening for the remained of our stay rather than deal with the owner. Parking is constricted, a high concrete step can damage correctly parked vehicles. New bedside lights and king size bed, but the GPO is behind the mattress and cannot be used. The outside furniture is old and decrepit. False, misleading and rude proprietors who do not understand hospitality. The owners are reliant on contractors, leisure travelers are clearly an imposition. We will not recommend this motel.
