Welcome to Casita del Sol! Relax and have fun with the whole family or group at this peaceful 100-year-old cottage close to the lake with modern amenities such as central air and heat, a flat-screen smart tv, 200 Mbps Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, and comfy beds with lots of pillows and blankets. Within walking distance to the beach, marina/boat launch, 4.1-mile lakeside path, bars, and restaurants. Spend time playing air hockey or ping pong in the front room, soak in the hot tub, relax by the gas or wood fire pits, play yard games, or grill and eat in the covered gazebo. For the adventurous, delivery of two Pelican kayaks and life jackets to the cottage or directly to the beach for launching is available upon request : )

Revive your taste buds with the huge spice rack, olive and vegetable oil, and balsamic vinegar. Relax knowing that you've got a fully equipped kitchen waiting for you so you can cook to your heart's content. Plastic storage containers are available for those yummy leftovers : )

Forgot toiletries or hand sanitizer? Don't worry! Hand sanitizer, toothbrushes, and toothpaste, as well as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, are included.

Location, location, location!!
Our gorgeous renovated 100-year-old cottage where you’ll have a relaxing stay is waiting for your arrival! You will love the location, close to the lake and all of its amenities, but nestled in a quiet neighborhood!

-3 min walk to Dragon Village of Buckeye Lake Chinese restaurant at the corner of Hebron Rd (route 79) and Myers Ave. We highly recommend General Tso’s Chicken and the eggrolls!
-5 min walk to the beach at Buckeye Lake boat launch and one end of the 4.1 mile walk/bike path along the water or to Donatos Pizza on Hebron Rd (Route 79)
-5 min walk to Creno’s Pizza (amazing Calzones!) and Louie's Corner House on Hebron Rd (route 79).
-10 min walk to Boat Yard Tavern & Grill and Dips on the Lake ice cream shop along the path. Boat Yard often has live music, and a schedule is located in the binder in the kitchen.
-10 min walk to Buckeye Lake Brewery and Chef Shack restaurant on Walnut Rd (route 79). All of the beers in the brewery are amazing, especially with a grapefruit bobber! The Shack Burger at Chef Shack is yummy!!

Backyard information:
Walking out the backdoor in the kitchen you’ll find a fully fenced-in yard with a gate leading to the driveway. A 6-person hot tub is situated in an alcove under a solar string-lighted pergola. Feeling chilly or craving s'mores? The gas and wood fire pits with Adirondack chairs are an ideal spot to relax. In the converted gazebo with solar string lights, maybe you’d like to grill and dine at the table. If you’re feeling a little more active, take advantage of the numerous yard/outdoor games located in the gazebo (Connect Four, Jenga, Ladder Ball, Spike Ball, or Corn Hole)

Parking Information:
The gravel driveway next to the cottage can easily accommodate 4 cars or 3 cars with a boat trailer. The boat launch is located a quick 3-minute drive away!
