You’ll be staying in a charming limestone building where old meets new. Original features like the concrete floor and plastered walls add character, while the modern kitchen and spacious bathroom provide all the comforts you need.
The living room features a fireplace for cozy evenings and a TV for relaxation. The bedroom on the ground floor has an inviting reading nook with books to borrow. The small windows typical of old farmhouses are offset by generous ceiling height and a glass patio door that lets in light from the south.
The hosts live on the farm, but you still have a private residence. Your private lawn is surrounded by traditional Gotland stone walls and offers a beautiful view of the pastures down toward the sea. Parking is conveniently located near the entrance on the north side. The house stays cool even on hot summer days thanks to the thick limestone walls.
You’ll reach a wonderful sandy beach just 400 meters away as the crow flies, often all to yourselves. Storsudret is Sweden’s sunniest region, featuring the famous Hoburgsgubben sea stack at its southernmost tip. Hamra Krog is within walking distance, and from Vändburg Harbor you can go kayaking or take a seal safari.
