Mama Bear’s Den- Pet Friendly

Mama Bear's Den is conveniently located across the street from the grocery store, 3 blocks from downtown restaurants & shopping, and an easy 2-minute drive to the hospital. This cottage offers a large yard for your pet and kiddos to play, plenty of off-street parking and a shared picnic area complete with BBQ and firepit. If you need more space, please check out our other listing, Baby Bear's Playhouse.

Mama Bear's Den is a small cottage ideal for two adults, or a couple traveling with one or two children, or two couples. This is a 600 square foot house with a combined kitchenette and seating area, two bedrooms, and a full bathroom. This house has a large deck with a table for outdoor dining. You can take the short trail to the enclosed picnic area where you will find a fire pit surrounded by comfortable seating ideal for toasting marshmallows and roasting hot dogs. There is a charcoal BBQ. The picnic area is a shared space with our other guests and is perfect place to make new friends.

You have access to the whole house and your porch privately for your use. There is a common shared space that includes a fire pit and barbecue area.

If you need more room as in beds, we have a conjoining property called Baby Bear’s playhouse that’s available to rent as well.
This home is a non-smoking space. pets are welcome with a pet cleaning fee applied.

Extremely clean and well maintained. For the same price as a hotel, this was a no brainer. I will book every time I’m passing through. Super convenient check in, everything was seamless. They offered everything needed to make my dogs feel at home as well. Even down to the detail of leaving 2 milkbones for them for a treat :) although we didn’t use the kitchen, it was stocked with essentials for your stay. Thank you for a great, cozy stay at a fair price!

The place was perfect for what we needed. It was close to stores and food and a beautiful drive to scenic places we wasted to visit. I love that it's right next to a Safeway so it was easy to grab a few things that I forgot at home. Everything's else you could possibly want is within a mile and a half. It was the perfect location. The house was very clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bathroom was spacious and the two bedrooms were great. The mattresses are so comfortable. We definitely would stay here again!

When we arrived the host had the air conditioner on, which was wonderful! It was 100 degrees. The place was clean, has comfortable furniture, and the bed was good. The place is close to Safeway but very quiet neighborhood. We only spent one night but we will go back if we go to that area again.

Great getaway

Stayed 3 days to check out the sites, the hot spring, and bird watch. The house was clean and had everything needed with a few extra touches that were appreciated. Reliable WiFi for remote work needs. Convenient location to grocery and fuel. Host was quick to respond to any needs. Will stay here again.

Great location. Home away from home.

My husband, two dogs and I stayed 2 nights while we toured the area birdwatching and sight seeing. Great location. I was worried about it being next to the store and busy area. But being a short walk to the store was great to pick up the fixings for dinner and breakfast that I made in the well equiped kitchen. Accomodations are comfy and plenty for the size. Thank you for having a cozy place to stay at with our dogs. .

This was a great place for my friend and I to stay for the (unfortunately cancelled) Migratory Bird Festival. Nice little kitchen and comfortable bedrooms. Even with the main road a block away and Safeway across the street it never seemed noisy and it is a short walk to the main part of town. My wife was going to come with the dogs but we had to change that plan and that was no a problem. I'd definitely stay here again when I'm back this way.

Perfect abode!

My sister and I were in burns for our great nephew’s wedding. This cozy little bear was perfect to come “home” to! It was a great location and we walked to Starbuck’s in the Safeway store each morning. It is just across the street from Safeway.

Simple and easy

I came out to the area to chukar hunt with my brother for a couple days. This place was just what we were looking for: simple, had all the basics, and a good price. We had a hunting dog with us, so the pet accommodations were nice. It was easy to find, and everything worked like like it should.

Overnight at Moma Bear's Den

We were driving from Northern Utah to Eugene Oregon with two pet dogs. Moma Bear's Den provided a convenient stopping point along the way. Across the road is a Safeway, which we took advantage of. The photos online suggested that three is an enclosed yard at the property but that was not the case. Our only issue. The unit is well-appointed, spacious and comfortable.
