nice hotel, the rooms look aged a little but are still fine. Hotel is on the main road and also backs onto the road by the sea. so a quick walk into rua das pedras is nice.

Horrible, horrible!

Not what I expected from the pictures. Old aircon unit sounded like a vaccum cleaner. Old bad/mattress way past its shelf life. A bath that takes 1 hour to fill. Little bugs everywhere in the room, flies hopping all over the breakfast food. Staff apathetic when I reported the above issues. I guess they are used to complaints. Sorry for the negative review but I had to be honest! There are loads of beautiful pousadas in Buzios so I encourage all international visitors to stay away from this place!

Good hotel and in a quiet nice area of Buzios. The hotel staff are polight but not very service minded. Also room clealiness could be better.

Great Location

Very good experience. Staff was great, hotel is great in a wonderful location. It is about a 5 minute walk to Rua das Pedras. We wanted to be close to all the shopping and this was the best.

Great Hotel. Great location. Poor front desk service

The hotel location is good (close to fun Centro and nightlife); pool is great (the best in Buzios); rooms comfortable (make sure you get pool or ocean view and that the room is mosquitoes free). Negative part is service. On arrival no staff accompanied us to the room (despite more than 5 standing in the lobby). On arrival to the room the balcony door was opened and room had mosquitoes all over. Called front desk for assistance and was given spray to fumigate the room after I called 3 times. No one care to go to the room to inspect how bad it was. The front desk clerk kept insisting it was normal, after I fumigated twice over a period of 5 hours the situation did not improved much. The Front desk was very reluctant to change the room insiing it was normal to have mosquitos and have the balcony door left open. I insited further fumigation and wait was not an option and front desk clerk agreed to cahange room. The new room was just next door and it was mosquito free so it was not “normal” the situation in the initial room. Once I moved to the new room all was good. The Hotel is really great just needs better service

Café da manhã muito bom e espaço do hotel excelente. Piscina muito boa. O que deixou a desejar foi o ardo quarto. Ar de janela já é barulhento por design, mas o que tinha lá era algo surreal. Velho, parecia um motor de barco, fazendo barulhos variados. Muito ruim mesmo. Quarto 111. Sugiro trocarem aquele ar ou vão ter reclamacoes constantes.

O café da manhã conta com uma estação de tapioca, crepe e omelete feitos na hora. Excelente opção. O funcionário da recepção do dia que chegamos foi muito atencioso, porém tivemos um problema com o segurança que fica no portão da Orla Bardot. Fizemos nosso check in perto de 19h e saímos para a rua das pedras pela saída da orla, ao retornarmos perto de 23h nossa chave não funcionou, então tocamos a campainha e o segurança disse que nosso nome não estava na lista e que precisaríamos dar a volta para entrar no hotel. Eu que tive que sugerir de ele ligar p/ recepção, ele fez com muita má vontade e disse que não conseguiu contato e que teríamos que dar a volta. Não se mostrou nada preocupado em resolver a situação agindo como se o problema fosse nosso.
