Cozy Cape Cod House - Stroll or Bike the Canal

This cozy 3BR/2BA contemporary Cape home boasts a (seasonally heated) in-ground pool and patio, complete with a fire pit. It's uniquely situated near highways, shops, beaches (just an 8 minute drive) and lakes. You'll be walking distance to the Cape Cod Canal, where you can stroll, bike, and even fish! You'll also be 10 minutes away from a couple of local beaches. The open concept floor plan features a wood fireplace, skylights, and a sun room.

FAMILY ROOM

As you enter the house, the family room welcomes you with an extra long, cozy, sectional. Behind it, from floor to ceiling, is a brick wood burning fireplace. Skylights allow you to see the stars as you enjoy movie night on the 65" flat screen tv.

KITCHEN & DINING

The kitchen features stainless steel appliances and all the cookware you need to cook and eat in with the family. Four can dine at the kitchen counter while they enjoy the movies! Prefer a formal sit-down dinner? You'll have two choices for location: a six seat dining table in the sun room or a six seat dining table out on the patio!

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS

This two story house has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and can sleep 10. The bedding formations are: One king, one queen, two fulls (one with a pull-out twin trundle), and a pull-out sofa bed. The two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom. While the downstairs bedroom has direct access to the first floor bathroom.

OUTDOOR

The fenced in back yard invites you to swim, lounge, and relax every minute of your stay! The heated pool is open from Memorial Day to October (New England weather permitting). Grab some pool noodles and floats from the pool house for the kids and throw some steak on the 2-in-1 charcoal/propane BBQ grill. In the evening, gaze at the stars while you relax with your family by the fire pit.

Plenty of parking available in the driveway with enough room for an RV, camper, or boat. Complimentary washer/dryer, high speed internet with wi-fi throughout the property, and Xbox One gaming.

Surrounded by many different recreational activities, such as fishing, kayaking, boating, bicycling, running, rollerblading, jogging, swimming, museums, parks, boardwalk, beaches and restaurants. Boston is just 50 miles west, so you're not too far away from a major city. The tip of Cape Cod, Provincetown, is 50 miles east.. Just bring yourself and your love ones and enjoy your stay!

Security cameras: the property has cameras overlooking the parking area to monitor cars coming in as the driveway is shared with a neighbor.

Perfect for a weekend getaway

Cape cod getaway

Our family had a great time staying here. Our girls (ages 6 and 8) loved the pool! The owner, Joao, was very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!

Convenient location and awesome pool

We had a wonderful week! We were a quick drive to several local beaches and we enjoyed the enormous in-ground pool. The house was very clean and the owner answered questions promptly.

Relaxing stay!

We had a nice relaxing stay with family! The house is exactly as the listing pictured/detailed, very clean. The owner was extremely kind and even allowed us to delay a Thanksgiving trip due to the state of the pandemic... we were then able to enjoy the heated pool this month! We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect!

Our family of 4 adults and 2 teens absolutely loved this house. The location is really good - away from traffic but close to many Cape Cod activities and restaurants. (We particularly loved the Whydah Pirate Museum!) Also, the pool was a big hit! We all commented on how well the property is maintained and the owner provided great customer service. We agreed we would definitely rent this again if we plan a visit to the Cape and recommend this to anyone coming to Cape Cod.

Great Cape Escape!!!

We had a great time at this home, located not far from the bridge. House was spotless, fenced in back yard with pool was great. Great grill to cook with and nice fire pit in the back yard. The owner was very responsive and communicated frequently. Lots of restaurants and things to nearby. Plenty of room in the house, with an enclosed porch and a great tv in the family room. Bedrooms were spacious. Highly recommend!

A PERFECT VACATION SPOT BY CAPE COD CANAL!

TRANQUIL + SPACIOUS + CLEAN This rental is just as advertised! SPOTLESS and fully equipped for a RELAXING vacation with Wi-Fi and SMART TV's. The entire house is surrounded by plenty of land providing lots of space for parking vehicles and boats while allowing for a private and tranquil atmosphere around the pool. My family of 9 slept comfortably in the large bedrooms and enjoyed preparing family meals in the spacious fully equipped kitchen. (kids had a blast) John is a great host, and we cannot wait to return!

Great Experience! Perfect House!

Fantastic experience with this property! Very, Very clean and neat. Plenty of outdoor area to lounge and enjoy the perfect weather we had. Very close to some great seafood restaurants. We even ventured out to Countryfest in Foxboro. (not too bad of a drive) All linens, towels, and kitchen items clean and well provided. (could use a teapot, maybe) Easy access to Market just steps away. We didn't use any beach/canal areas, but they seemed pretty close. Cute setup for the house and open floorplan was perfectly comfortable for our 6 adults. Thanks John!

The property is in a nice area and is convenient to the grocery and the northern beaches (10 Min.). The layout of the house is good for families. The pool is very nice and is heated. Everything was clean when we arrived. We had a very nice visit but the property is a bit tired. The doors leading to the sun porch and the pool house door both had issues and were hard to use. Simple issues like replacing broken blinds, cleaning the grill, mowing the grass, replacing light bulbs and replacing cracked moldings, etc. would dress up the place quite a bit. In addition we felt the kitchen was poorly equipped. There were no baking pans or serving bowls. We had to order items on Amazon.There was poison ivy in the yard and weeds in the front flower planters. It would have been much more welcoming had there been flowers there.Lastly, the propane was completely empty in the very dirty gas grill.I would give the physical condition a 3 rating.

Great pool

The first thing we noticed when we walked in was how clean the house was. For being a dog friendly rent, you’d never know that dogs ever stayed there! It was spotless! We did have torrential downpours for two days, which unfortunately caused major leaking over a sliding glass door into a bedroom. We used towels and bowls to do our best to soak and catch the water, at the request of the owner. I’d imagine there will be a decent amount of water damage and possibly mold in the walls and floorboards.

Great backyard!

We loved the pool and backyard! The convenience of not having to leave the house was key to a relaxing vacation. The open floor plan inside was great for hanging out, cooking, and eating. Plenty of room for both families.

Pool was a lifesaver

During our July vacation there was a heat wave, so the pool was amazing- everyone enjoyed it. Close proximity to canal for biking was a plus and of course super close to Market Basket for all the vacation essentials. Driveway is a bit steep so beware if driving a small to midsize vehicle as going up can be tough on the undercarriage of your car.

Great getaway and privacy

We just stayed here with our kids, grandchildren and two dogs. The house was impeccably clean and ready when we arrived. It was a very hot week but the pool and AC kept everyone comfortable and cool. It was so warm we never had to turn on the pool heater. Everyone slept very well in the comfortable beds and we had several family dinners grilling and cooking. The back yard offered plenty of privacy and we enjoyed using the fire pit and making stores. Thank you for a great vacation.
