Ridiculously overpriced, atrocious food (got violently ill the very first day and was nauseous the rest of the stay), the room had rundown/ripped furniture, and the staff seemed like they couldn’t care less about assisting. It was literally the weirdest, most regrettable, investment of over $6k for 4 days at a “resort” that I’ve ever experienced. Shame on the W/Bonvoy.

I stayed at the W Costa Rica celebrating my boyfriend birthday. I absolutely love this resort. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to our needs during our stay. Our was so spacious and the ocean view put the icing on the cake. Will definitely recommend this property if you’re visiting Costa Rica!

Property is beautiful but the hotel seems short staffed, service at restaurants is not great, and honestly, the food is terrible. We expected better food for the prices we were paying. Absolutely wonderful, highly recommend!? Service was wonderful, staff are super friendly and helpful. The beach is perfect, and the food was great.
