Loved the lake view. It was stunning. Room was clean and the beds were decent. You can tell they've done some updating. Walls are paper thin, the family in the room next to ours kept waking our kids throughout the night but that can happen anywhere. We were only there 1 night for a stop to get to Traverse City, we would maybe stay again for the lake view alone.

This is a classic lake motel but it has been updated with new paint, floors and bathrooms. It felt very clean and comfortable. The view is beautiful and the staff were super kind and helpful. There are easy walking paths nearby. The restaurant next door was surprisingly delicious, and even though they were extremely busy, the college kids working tried their best and were good kids. Honestly, I booked it on a whim. We were on the way up to a wedding and we were extremely pleased with the entire stay. I would definitely stay there again.
