The Space:

Set within one of Cairns’ most loved neighbourhoods, this retro-style studio offers a comfortable and easygoing base, with warm interiors and practical touches ideal for solo travellers or couples wanting to stay close to the action while enjoying a quieter residential setting.



The open-plan living area is designed for laid-back downtime, with a comfortable lounge and a Smart TV ready for slow evenings after exploring the region. Air conditioning and a ceiling fan keep the space cool year-round, while reliable Wi-Fi makes it easy to stay connected or work remotely between adventures. The kitchen is fully equipped for easy home cooking, featuring an electric stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, cookware, crockery, and cooking essentials. A small dining setting provides a casual spot for meals or planning the day over coffee.



The sleeping area features a comfortable queen bed and wardrobe storage, creating a relaxing space to unwind and recharge after days spent exploring Cairns and the surrounding tropics. The bathroom includes a shower, toilet, and full laundry facilities with a washing machine and dryer, making longer stays feel easy and convenient.



There is a dedicated on-site parking space located at the rear of the complex. The studio is conveniently close to the Cairns Botanic Gardens, Centenary Lakes walking trails, the airport, and the CBD, making it easy to experience both the natural beauty and vibrant lifestyle of Tropical North Queensland. As Cairns Airport is only a six-minute drive away, you may occasionally hear aircraft in the distance.

The Neighborhood:

Edge Hill is one of Cairns’ most sought-after neighbourhoods, loved for its relaxed atmosphere, leafy streets, and vibrant local dining scene. Just steps from the studio, Collins Avenue is lined with popular cafés, casual eateries, and local favourites including NOA, Guerrilla Cairns, Ozmosis, The Hound Small Bar, and GiGi Bar & Restaurant. The Cairns Botanic Gardens are around seven minutes away on foot, offering scenic walking trails and lush tropical surrounds, while Mount Whitfield Conservation Park is only a 12-minute drive for rainforest hikes and scenic lookouts. Cairns Esplanade is approximately four minutes away by car, with the CBD reachable in around ten minutes. Cairns Airport is also just a six-minute drive, making arrivals and day trips especially convenient.

Amenities

We provide a generous amount of amenities as a "start up" for your stay. These include shampoo, conditioner, body soap, dishwasher & laundry sheets, toilet paper, tissues, salt/pepper, cooking oil, tea, coffee & sugar. If your stay is longer than a few days, you will need to top up to suit your needs.



Linen/Towels

Our linen is hotel quality and professionally cleaned. Each guest is provided 1 bath towel and 1 pool towel. Additionally, we have bath mats, hand towels, and face washers. Please be sure to register the correct number of guests to ensure our linen provision suits your needs.



Bag Storage

Bag storage before or after your stay is available at Stasher Luggage (next to The Jack Hotel), 52 Spence Str, Cairns.
