The Country Inn is a clean, pleasant hotel that appears to have been recently refurbished. Our room was spotless (three cheers for no carpets!) and spacious and pet friendly, which is a huge plus. The breakfast was basic but fine. The dining room and grounds are nice and the location is unbeatable--walking distance to both downtown Camden and Rockport Harbor. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. My only negatives: the place was overheated. We managed to turn the heater in our room off but it was still too hot and the dining room was an oven. The bed was a bit on the soft side, but I like a hard bed and most folks probably wouldn't mind. Staff was pleasant and hard working. And huge plus: four ChargePoint car chargers and all of them seemed to be working!

This was a nice motel, but it seemed to cater more towards older individuals than those with young couples. We just did not get a super friendly vibe with our kids and they are very well behaved. They are very strict about having shoes on anywhere outside of your rooms. It is pretty and provided nice space for us but left us not feeling overly welcome.

Enjoyed our stay, was able to do a load of laundry, which was very helpful. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the hotel was kept up very well. I do think it’s time to put new beds in, however as they were not very comfortable. New pillows would be helpful also
