Domaine Argia – A Haven of Peace in the Heart of Nature

The Domaine Argia, an intimate and authentic retreat, is the perfect place to unwind and share unforgettable moments with family, friends, or colleagues. Nestled in a privileged setting, this 18th-century estate, known as Gauchet, seamlessly blends traditional architecture, modern comfort, and artistic sensibility.



The property accommodates up to 14 guests in a minimalist luxury that highlights spacious interiors, natural materials, and abundant light. The 6 bedrooms, including a suite, feature king-size beds that can be converted into twin beds and each has a private bathroom with an Italian-style shower. The suite is divided into two sleeping areas, includes a king-size bathtub, and offers direct access to a balcony.



The house features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room for 14 guests, and a cozy living room with a grand piano, foosball table, library, and a projector available upon request.



The private 8,000 m² park offers a 15x4 m saltwater pool, a trampoline, a large dining terrace for 16 guests, a poolside lounge with sunbeds, a barbecue and plancha, as well as a summer lounge. A private parking area can accommodate up to 15 cars.



On-site activities include private access to the Bidouze River for kayaking, paddleboarding, and fishing, as well as facilities for swimming, badminton, foosball, and pétanque. There is also a picnic area by the river and direct access to the Véloroute 81, which connects the Atlantic to the Mediterranean—ideal for cycling, running, horseback riding, or off-road scooter rides.



Horseback riding is just 2 km away, Basque and Landes beaches 35 km, skiing 2 hours, and Pyrenees hiking 1h30. Discover charming villages like La Bastide Clairence, Cambo, and Espelette, the Jurançon vineyards (40 km), and cities like Biarritz, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, and San Sebastián.
