The man-made pond below Hemlock is the centerpiece of Lux in the Gorge. It features a large dock, kayaks, and a pedal boat available for guest use. The pond is shared among a small community of other luxury cabins, giving it a friendly but peaceful atmosphere.

In Mid November 2025, the new game room will open nearby—complete with pool, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, and shuffleboard. It’s a great place to unwind after a day exploring Red River Gorge.

Surveillance

For guest safety, outdoor security cameras are located only in shared resort spaces:

The pond dock area (to monitor shared equipment like kayaks and pedal boats)

The game room (for general property safety)

There are no cameras inside cabins, private decks, or hot tub areas. Your privacy is always fully respected.
