Beautiful home and location

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely home on 2.2 acres. The lake is very low but the property was just beautiful with lovely sunsets off the balcony. We took morning and evening strolls in the neighborhood and saw deer and cardinals each time. This property was great for all ages. The only issue we had was low water pressure. Not sure if this was due to low lake levels or something specific to the house. We visited Blanco and the Guadalupe River State Park while we were here and thoroughly enjoyed both. We will definitely return again.

Lake Vacation

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Canyon Cove. It was exactly as presented and well thought out for comfort and convenience. We particularly enjoyed the wildlife passing through in the early mornings and evenings. We would definitely return. The four bedrooms were perfect for us.

Charming property and great location

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the the property, and overall, it was a wonderful experience. The property is very clean, beautifully maintained, with an outdoor deck, really big backyard, and a fire pit all of which we enjoyed. Deer are plenty and roam around in this area. We were 6 people and there were 2 bathrooms for the 4 bedrooms. This was only a minor issue, however, and didn't detract too much from our overall enjoyment of the property. In conclusion, I would definitely recommend the property to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing canyon lake/hill country getaway.

Nice spot

The house was immaculate and the property was terrific. Unfortunately there kitchen was very poorly supplied as there was no glassware or wineglasses. There were a few plastic tumblers and some mugs that was all. This was a very big disappointment. Considering we were having/hosting Thanksgiving there this was not OK. My husband actually drove to town to try to buy wineglasses (but couldn't find any). Possibly this was driven by the owner fearing glass in the hot tub but suffice it to say as responsible adults we would never consider using glass near a hot tub and never have we stayed in a VRBO with a pool/spa that doesn't have glassware. Also the gas fireplace was disabled with a sign saying it was not for guest use. This should have been disclosed. There were a few cold days and turning on the fireplace was an option we expected especially given the premium rate we were paying. The hot tub/spa was wonderful however with only a few more towels supplied than guests (we are a family of 4) we were left to dry off with our damp shower towels as there was not a generous enough supply of additional towels or pool towels. The upstairs deck is excellent we made great use of it an enjoyed the view.

Girls Trip

Rented this house for the weekend and had a great time. Enjoyed the hot tub and the wildlife. There was a burn ban so we didn't get to enjoy the firepit like we had hoped. The house is beautiful.

This property is gorgeous, had everything we needed, great location. The house is beautifully decorated and very clean. The hot tub was awesome and watching the deer from the porch was so fun. We would definitely recommend this house.

Great Relaxing Place

Perfect for a family gathering. The Lake is a little distance from the property with rocky beach but bring shoes and you can even drive to the lake for people who would not want to walk. Great property with calming views. Great kitchen and even toss the bean bag toys for everyone in the garage to use. Wonderful.

Large Clean and Modern Lake Front Home With Everything You Need

The Canyon Cove property is a large, clean and modern lake house that has everything you need for a fun family or group vacation. Large, well-stocked kitchen, spacious dining and living areas, and fantastic views of Canyon Lake with a western view providing stunning sunsets. Nice patios upstairs and downstairs, a large grill and big garage and driveway with a basketball court along with a nice lake shoreline provide everything you need to have a great time. An outdoor sitting area with a firepit to view the stars at night provides great after-dinner fun. We loved the place and will be going back on a regular basis with our family.

Cozy, comfortable and spectacular views...

We loved everything about this property. We are five 60-ish besties who've been traveling together for years and this was voted as one of our all-time faves for a weekend getaway. Clean, beautiful, comfortable, great indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, and beautiful views. Updated kitchen, but if you're planning on serious cooking, you might consider bringing a few cooking utensils and mixing bowls.. Would highly recommend this property for anyone and a lovely time was had by all.

Wonderfully relaxing

Property was exactly as listed. Sunsets were amazing! The deer watching was plentiful. Beds and furniture were comfy. The only thing that caught us a little off guard was that the upstairs balcony was only accessible through the second king bed bedroom. That wasn’t ideal for us but not something we couldn’t adjust too. Would definitely stay again. Thanks.
