The Space:

Welcome to SongBird – a beautifully styled Bali-inspired home in Simon’s Town, where indoor/outdoor living and sweeping False Bay views set the tone for a truly memorable coastal stay.



This spacious 2-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home is designed for comfort and relaxation. Both bedrooms are ensuite with built-in cupboards and an aircon, making it ideal for couples or friends traveling together. An additional guest toilet adds convenience.



At the heart of SongBird is the open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area, complete with a separate scullery/prep space. Large stacking windows open up the living area completely, blurring the line between inside and out.



Step onto the upper deck and you’ll find ocean views that stretch across False Bay. Relax into the comfortable outdoor seating, fire up the gas grill, or soak in the outdoor bath under the stars.



Up front, a charming coffee patio offers a quiet spot to start your day with the sound of birdsong and the sea breeze.

⚠️ Please Note



- Our home is set on the edge of a beautiful wildlife reserve, so you may occasionally spot some of the local visitors — including baboons who wander down from the mountain. They’re curious, not dangerous, and will happily move along if left undisturbed. We’re fortunate to have a fantastic baboon ranger team who walks with them guides them back up the mountain. For your comfort, we simply recommend keeping doors and windows closed when you’re not in the room or house, and avoiding interaction with them.

- Not suitable for children under 12 due to open windows

- Quiet neighbourhood: no loud music after 10pm (weekends) / 9pm (weeknights).

- the outdoor bath has hot water but it not a traditional hot tub / jacuzzi and is not wood fired. It's got hot water coming out the taps. Big enough for 2

- to stay compliant, we do require that all guests complete a guest verification facilitated by Truvi. It requires your ID and signing of our T&Cs. Thank you.



Guest Access:

Guests will access to the whole property.



Other Things to Note:

One cleaning service and linen change is included for guests staying 7+ days. Additional cleans are available at R400 per day. Please request in advance.



We at this stage are unable to facilitate 3rd party service providers due to Liability shortcomings from the platform.



Please note that for compliance purposes, we do require guests to go through a verification process with Truvi including collection of ID and signing of T&Cs. They will email you upon confirmation. Should you not wish to go through with that, we will respectfully have to cancel the reservation
