The staff is very helpful, and my room was huge and included a FULL kitchen with 4-burner stove (I didn't ask for that and am not sure how many rooms have that). The hotel is near the Victoria and Albert Waterfront, one of the most fun and safe places in town to wander around (although it's a full 15 mins walk away, and you can't really safely do that walk after dark; the hotel will suggest that you take a taxi).

This is a safe place to stay in a city that is increasingly dangerous. Judith on the front desk is the perfect host. But there is no breakfast or even a kitchen in the guest house. There are, however, eateries close-by. I would recommend this property and will stay here again.

Charming guesthouse - nice people - good location

This guesthouse was exactly what I needed during my stay in Cape Town. It has a tremendous amount of charm that can only exist in a property that is a little bit older. The couple that run it are very, very nice people, as were the other staff members that I met. My unit had a small refrigerator and microwave and there are grocery stores a short walking distance away. The Victoria and Alfred waterfront is also within walking distance. If you're looking for a modern hotel with all the amenities, this is not the place for you, but if want a clean room in a charming house with people who make you feel like family, you've found it!
