Lovely week on Carcassonne

We had a really lovely week in Carcassonne, we were all sad to leave. The house was absolutely beautiful and had everything you could need and spotlessly clean. The pool was lovely and great outdoor seating areas. The house made a lovely week in a beautiful town perfect.

Holiday in Carcassonne from July 13th to July 27th

We had a great and relaxing holiday in Carcassonne. The villa has all comfort required and is located excellently in order to explore the wonderful city of Carcassonne and the surrounding area. Monique, the owner, was conveniently nearby and extremely helpful throughout our stay. Highly recommended !!!

We have just returned from an absolutely perfect couple of weeks here. It was hard to believe it could be quite as good as the pictures made it look, but it really was. Monique is a fabulous host - always available if needed, and very responsive, but allowing us to have all the space and time in her fantastic property. We haven’t ever stayed anywhere so well equipped in France - it is truly fabulous. Overall would hugely recommend, and we cannot wait to come back. Thank you for a wonderful holiday.

Lovely peaceful property. Beautiful garden and pool. We walked to the supermarket and restaurants about 20 minutes, in to Carcassonne was 20 minutes in the other direction and the citadel was 45-55 minute walk. Amazing area to drive around. The house was fully equipped and beautifully styled. The host was so lovely, friendly, quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommended 5🌟

Séjour parfait à Carcassonne

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine dans cette très belle maison très bien située pour visiter la cité de Carcassonne et les autres richesses de l'Aude. Une décoration soignée, un cadre extérieur enchanteur avec une grande et belle piscine, tout concourt à des vacances relaxantes. L'accueil de notre sympathique hôte était aussi très agréable. Nous la remercions pour ses conseils et recommandons sans réserve cette location dans ce magnifique écrin.

Schöne Villa mit Pool

Sehr schöne, gut ausgestattete Villa auf gehobenem Niveau. Toller Pool zur Privatnutzung. Die Eigentümerin ist sehr freundlich und steht mit guten Tips und Empfehlungen zur Verfügung. Während unserer Anwesenheit wohnte die Eigentümerin in einem Nachbarhaus. Sie kümmerte sich u.a. um den Pool, hielt sich aber sehr dezent zurück. Alles bestens, kann das Objekt weiterempfehlen.

Lovely villa with a wonderful pool

My husband and our three children had a wonderful stay here. The garden and pool are fabulous and the villa is lovely. Very stylish too! It has everything you need. All clean and tidy and Monique was so welcoming and gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Loads to do in Carcassonne and the surrounding areas too - I could have spent hours wandering around the walled town. Recommend a canal Midi boat trip, day trip to Narbonne beach and vineyards and Lastours (Cathar site is great - 20 mins outside Carcassonne). There is a bakery and supermarket just 2 mins drive away. Wifi is great too! 5-10 mins drive from the walled city and there is easy parking there at Narbonne bridge. We would love to come back!

Beautiful property in a beautiful setting

Just arrived back in England after spending 4 weeks at this lovely property. The owner Monique is a lovely lady and was quite accommodating to our needs. The swimming pool, gardens and villa are all as described in the listing. If were to have any gripes, as it appears we always do, we would say there are one or two small things that could be done to improve one’s stay, such as getting someone in to check and do maintenance on the property including checking all lights work as some did not, the toilet light switch was also not working, there’s also a need to employ a cleaner for the property a least once a week, the cost of hiring the villa I’d regard as being within the top price range so one would expect a cleaner to be included in that price. We also suggest more storage is made available in the second & third bedrooms as all storage appears to be taken up with the owners own belongings. Albeit apart from these small items we had an enjoyable stay… Thank you Alan, Gillian Bethany & Michael.

A beautiful house.

Stayed here for two weeks and had a most relaxing holiday. Monique is a superb owner, greeting us and settling us all in. The house is beautifully furnished and has everything, and more, that you could need for your stay. An excellent base for exploring the area which has many wonderful attractions including chateau's and superb vineyards as well as the medieval walled city which is breath taking . The only downside is the lack of storage in the second bedroom and the third bed is reached via steep steps. This was fine for our older children but not for younger children or anyone elderly. I would highly recommend staying here and taking Monique's advice on restaurants etc.
