Room and food were great. The fact that this hotel is still using mag strip, swipe key cards instead of tap to entry was a real issue for us on this stay. On several occasions, we were locked out of our room and of the side entry/ pool access doors. This was despite the fact they gave us multiple key cards - as by day 2, the cards were both worn out to the point of failing to read any of their door readers. Kind of odd for such a well established brand to still be using these style of access cards.

We had a great stay here after visiting Carlsbad Caverns! The pool was a bonus after a long day. The staff was excellent, and the breakfast options were delicious. We had a great room that was perfect for us.

We were welcomed right away and the front desk staff (a woman and young man) were so attentive and friendly! Kristal, on the morning shift, was equally helpful and friendly! Our room was clean and spacious. We enjoyed a filling breakfast each morning and popcorn in the lobby was a bonus!
