From the ocean air and sandy beaches to the forests and nearby conveniences, Carmel is the perfect place to relax and 'unwind'.
With attention paid to every detail, you can come and get away from it all at this updated vacation home-away-from-home.

Located in a quiet Carmel Woods neighborhood on a private 1/4 acre lot at the end of the street. With easy access to Highway One it will be easy to explore all that Carmel and the Central California Coast have to offer from golf and boutique shopping to the Monterey Bay Aquarium, forested hikes or daytrips to Big Sur and scenic drives through Pebble Beach®.

Living Spaces
This 1,500 sf, 2-level home has been thoughtfully updated and is freshly furnished for your comfort and enjoyment.
The spacious living room boasts stunning high vaulted ceilings, creating an airy, open feel and enhancing the natural light that pours in through large windows. Featuring refinished oak hardwood floors, new carpet in the bedrooms, and laminate flooring in the kitchen and baths, this home blends classic charm with modern updates.
A recently updated deck offers the perfect space for outdoor entertaining.

Kitchen and Dining
The sunny kitchen is fully-equipped so you can create your favorite meals at home and when you want to dine out, the nearby options are endless. The dining table comfortably seats 6 so you can gather to enjoy meals, chats and board games.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms
Each bedroom has a charming vintage sports theme and luxurious bedding.
Upstairs:
Bedroom #1 is the 'Tennis Room' and it has a queen bed, TV and desk with an office chair.
Bedroom #2, the 'Croquet Room', has a queen bed and a TV.
The bathroom on this level is accessed from both the hallway and directly from Bedroom #1. It has a shower-over-tub combination.
Downstairs near the living spaces:
Bedroom # 3, the 'Golf Room', has a queen bed and a TV.
The lower level full hall bathroom has a shower-over-tub combination.

Parking for one vehicle is available in the over-sized one-car garage (It is possible with skillful parking that you may be able to fit two small vehicles) and two more vehicles can fit in the driveway.

The washer and dryer are available for guest use and they are located in the garage.

Well-behaved dogs are welcome with pre-approval, an additional pet fee and a signed pet addendum.

This vacation home is professionally managed by Sanctuary Vacation Rentals. With over 15 years of property management experience, Sanctuary strives to provide environments that nurture and inspire with all the comforts of home. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house and grounds were exactly as described. The house was well appointed and immaculately clean. Everything was provided, like tissues, toiletries and nightlights. The people at Sanctuary Vacation Rentals went above and beyond making us feel welcome and comfortable, from the calls before and after check in to the welcome crackers, cheese and wine. We could walk to downtown in less than 15 minutes, although the walk is a bit awkward along the roads without sidewalks. There is a BBQ and outdoor furniture on the deck, and adirondack chairs in the back yard. The yard is unfortunately not completely fenced in, which would have made our stay with our dog nicer. The house is located on a quiet cul de sac, but the property borders on a busy road in the back. It was not an issue for those in our group who live in a city, but the road noise was bothersome for me.
