Overall we enjoyed our stay but our stay was tainted by the fact that the airline deleted our tickets so we were a day and a half late arriving. Considering all that we went through, the hotel would not consider comping our first night that we missed through no fault of our own…or anything for that matter. The breakfast was good but not fabulous. The property is unique with a very zen vibe (think Middle Eastern flavour). The staff were lovely and very service oriented. The location within the walled city was very convenient with lots of nightlife and restaurants on your doorstep.

Hotel was beautiful and staff was very professional. The style of hotel is very nice and location is great inside the walled city. The only thing I didn’t like is that my room had no door for the bathroom. If that is important to you, like most people, you should confirm that your room has a door for the bathroom.

The hotel reminded us of something out of Casablanca or Indiana Jones. It was centrally located. There were only stairs to the second floor where our room was located. It was not an issue for us, but it was a bit challenging for the older couple we were traveling with.

small botique hotel on a QUIET street. Two blocks down, streets get noisy so this was in a great location in old town. Small hotel so they get to know you and service is quite personal. Guard on the front door at all times it is open - so it felt safe.

Beautiful, centrally located but terrible service

The hotel took a long time for checkout and was confused about the payment and could have charged us two times. They did not provide water and the room service was not too great. Breakfast service is also very slow. But its centrally located and a beautiful property and good to consider.

Really nice hotel, its quiet,nice rooftop pool and very well located. The food is really good. The main strengh of the hotel is the personnel. Everyone was really nice but I have to mention that Edurdo, the concierge and Jairo, the manager, were very helpful. Edurdo always did follow ups to make sure everything was to our liking. we felt very safe. Jairo, at the front desk, was always available to answer our questions and to find a solution to our inquiries. I have no hesitation to recommend the hotel. My only concern is some rooms don't have a window looking outside so it could be very dark.

The property is lovely except they do not give out more than two small bottles of water after which you are charged for water. The tap water is not potable so they should not be charging for bottled water

Cold shower only for days, the property does not mention there are a ton of staircases to get to your room, not a good surprise when you have injuries. Unknown bug in my bed. The worst is the lack of any concern when informing the property of any challenges. For $500-$700 a night, the service should be welcoming and reassuring not dismissive. Do not recommend.
