At first, it appeared very nice. It had been rebuilt 2 years ago, and was very modern. I noticed a big wad of hair on the wall in the bathroom. Upon lying down, I could hear the people in the bext room and the hallway talking at a normal level of volume clearly. They must have very thin walls. The hotel was right next to a casino, and it was very loud after midnight from returning gamblers, I presume. At 4:00 a.m. I gave up trying to sleep and checked out. It was a stopping point for me on my trip from east Texas to my home in Ohio. When I went into the bathroom before I left, I noticed a big wad of toilet paper in the toilet that didn't come from me. It must have come up from the toilet in the next room. It would not flush down. I was disgusted.

Stayed at the Farmstead Hotel because of the great reviews and totally agree that this property is very deserving of 5-stars! The hotel is well-kept, rooms are nice and clean, the staff so polite, and the location is quiet; exactly what we were looking for after a long day of travel. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

Fishing show trip

The hotel was nice and clean! Hotel staff was very accommodating. Only limited amount of food items available in hotel store. Starbucks coffee available and I think it was available 24 hours but we only used it in the morning. The bed was supposed to have been queen size and they stated it was but it was very small Queen if it was. Hotel is newer and close to the casino which is a very short walk 2-3 minutes max. Parking available for free.

Nice, quiet, clean

Have stayed at the particular hotel a couple of times. Front desk is always kind and helpful. Located close to the casino but this hotel stands alone. Very quiet. Will stay again in the future!

Hotel was remodeled beautifully, but it stopped there. First room we were given the closet/bathroom door was off the hinges & fell toward me. Switched to another room where the thermostat wasn’t working. Switched back to original room & called maintenance to fix the door(novel idea). Staff didn’t seem to be trained at all. Had to search for staff to check out the next morning.

There is no breakfast options. They only have one iron and ironing board that you have to ask for. The sliding bathroom/closet door kept coming off track. Husband was not a fan of the half shower door. The corners at the end of the bed stick out and we all kept hitting our knees/legs on them. One of our rooms had a vent that had a sour/moldy smell (room 101) Microwave would be nice.
