Lovingly restored, this 1950s mountain cabin offers a charming retreat that seamlessly blends its original character with a new mountain chic interior and exterior. The home offers 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths with a massive back patio and hot tub overlooking the fire pit area below.

Nestled in a private setting, the cabin sits on a spacious one-acre property, providing ample room to relax and enjoy the serene surroundings. From the cabin, you can soak in the picturesque views of Bright Mountain, creating a truly captivating backdrop. Conveniently located just off N. Norton Road, the cabin is a mere 7-minute drive from the crossroads in Cashiers, allowing easy access to the town's amenities.

Additionally, it offers great proximity to the vibrant town of Highlands, Lake Glenville, Panthertown Valley, Cullowhee National Forest and much more! This ideal location provides the perfect balance between tranquility and convenience, ensuring that you can easily explore the local attractions of the Highlands/Cashier's Plateau while still enjoying the peace and privacy of your mountain getaway.

We go to Highlands every fall and our normal VRBO was booked the weekend we wanted to visit. So we found this adorable house and so glad we did! The house is very private and wooded, beautiful in the fall with the color change. The house itself was stocked well and very clean. The outdoor area is beautiful and where we spent 90% of our time. The owners are very friendly and extremely easy to communicate with. We would stay here again, especially since they are pet friendly!!

We loved our time at this cabin! The back porch is perfect and we really enjoyed spending time outside in the peaceful space eating, playing games, and reading. The house was very clean and the owners were very responsive and communicated well, checkin and checkout were well explained. We would recommend and would visit again.

We had a wonderful stay in Jackson County, NC. The setting was peaceful, and the home itself was clean, cozy, and perfectly located for our visit. We were greeted with a surprising and memorable moment—a bear casually strolling across the backyard just as we arrived!The beds were very comfortable overall, with the exception of the pull-out sofa bed, which had a spring mattress that wasn’t ideal. Our son ended up sleeping on the couch instead, which turned out to be quite comfortable. Aside from that small issue, everything else was perfect and made for a relaxing getaway. Thank you!

We enjoyed our time at this property few minutes from Cashiers, NC. Big property with a hot tub, outdoor deck with fireplace, and everything we needed. We loved the fireflies in the meadow across the street.

We loved our stay here so very much! Just far enough out that you can enjoy the peace and quiet but close enough to everything that it's really convenient to go into Highlands or Cashiers. Very family friendly house!
