The area was alright for what we hoped for. We got there and the key was easy enough to access to get inside the apartment. The keypad for the door did not work. Upon entering there was a slightly must smell as though something was washed and not dried adequately was nearby. Our senses became numb to that smell after a while. The apartment was well set up with everything a couple like us would need, small couch, little dinner table and pots and pans. We sat down to watch TV only to find out we would have to go through the process of setting up the television from a previous factory reset. (Not necessarily what anyone wants to do on vacation) . The bed was very comfortable, which was probably the most redeeming thing about the place. The washcloths had a musty smell as though they were left wet for too long, but it was a decent little shower. The vent fan did not have enough power to keep fog off of the mirror. Communication with the host was an all too often thing throughout our stay. Between trying to notify the host of issues and being sent courtesy texts and the texting and emailing became far too much for my personal preference. For check out, we were sent both text and email with instructions to follow that were not consistent with one another. Failure to comply added $200 or $250 per offense. Pictures had to be taken to prove the instructions were followed, which leads one to believe that the host does not check the property regularly. Great potential if changes happen.
