It made you feel back in time. Beautiful room great 4 course dinber with great Server Merrick made our ambiance awesome. Breakfast next morning was also great. We enjoyed ourselves so much we are planning on returning soon with Friends and redo our stay again.

Nous avions une chambre dans une maison en plein coeur du village et Ă  quelques pas du stationnement. TrĂšs bien dĂ©corĂ©e au goĂ»t du jour. Il y avait un Frigo mais sans micro-ondes. Le dĂ©jeuner Ă©tait compris et dĂ©licieux (5 ou 6 choix au menu). Il Ă©tait servi aux tables. Nous avons soupĂ© Ă  cet endroit (il faut rĂ©servĂ©). Mon conjoint n'a pas aimĂ© son souper car il est difficile (il appris qu'il n'aime pas une sauce bĂ©harnaise avec un filet mignon et le choix de lĂ©gumes n'Ă©tait pas Ă  son goĂ»t). J'ai beaucoup aimĂ© mon magret de canard avec les mĂȘme lĂ©gume. Suggestion au resto: suggĂ©rĂ© diffirents lĂ©gumes comme par exemple des frites, pomme de terre au four ou autres avec les tranches de boeuf et ayez aussi un sauce aux poivres. Car il y aura toujours une personne qui aura des goĂ»t moins raffinĂ©! Ceci dit, j'ai adorĂ© le fait de dormir au coeur du village et de pouvoir continuer Ă  visiter le site aprĂšs la fermeture au publique.

TrĂšs bel endroit Ă  visiter. Les lits sont confortables, toilette propres & au gout du jour ! Je recommande de prĂ©ciser que le deuxiĂšme lit queen doit ĂȘtre rabattu, puos il est trĂšs confortable. Puis je recommande de deplacer la borne Ă©lectrique entre deux stationnements, afin de permettre Ă  un autre client d'utiliser la borne lorsque l'autre client ne porte pas attention Ă  sa charge, car a mon passage, un client avait terminĂ© de rechargĂ© vers 21h00 et n'a libĂ©rĂ© la station qu'a son depart le matin suivant.
Magasin général au rez-de-chaussée. Chambres au 2e étage. Puis à gauche du bùtiment, il y a une estrade pour les présentations historiques par quelques personnages du village !
Partie gauche du bùtiment est le bureau de poste, puis à droite débute les résidences (chambres)

La chambre est au gout du jour tout en gardant le cachet historique de l’emplacement. SituĂ© dans le centre du village historique est une experience unique en son genre. La chambre etait un peu petit, surtout pour le prix. Point negatif: Quand j’ai demandĂ© a la reception si ils avait de la glace, elle m’a repondu qu’on devait aller l’acheter au camping ($$) donc nous sommes aller en acheter, pour finalement apprendre qu’il en avait dans un autre edifice a notre disposition(reservĂ© aux clients en hebergement).

Un travail colossal a été fait sur ce site que j'avais visité il y a plusieurs années. Les rénovations ont été faites tout en respectant l'époque et les installations existantes. Super déjeuner compris dans le forfait. Seul point à améliorer: le tour du site en "tramway" est aussi compris dans le forfait mais puisqu'il ne commence qu'à 10h00 et que le check-out est à 11h00, nous n'avons pas pu le faire.
