Perfect bungalow for 2

You can't beat the location of this rental. We were not more than 15 to 30 minutes max to everything we chose to do and see. The little bungalow is just adorable and the bed slept better than any hotel I have ever stayed at. After a day at the beach, the shower was like being at a spa! Having chairs and towels provided for us to use for the beach was an appreciated cost saving treat!! This rental is stocked with anything you should need or could possibly forget to pack.The host and her husband were the sweetest and I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the screened in porch watching the squirrels play and listening to the birds and napping on the comfy couch in the afternoons! If we return to the area this is marked as my preferred spot to stay.Thank you again for your hospitality and sharing such an amazing little place to escape and enjoy!!

Great place to stay. Everything you need is already there. The only suggestion would be to clear the vegetation from the driveway. The branches did run against our vehicle when entering or exiting the bungelo.

If we return to Charleston this is the first property I would try to book. Beautiful property great host and good location. Our modem for the tv died and had to be replaced.To us no big deal as we were not there to watch tv. Returned at the end of the day to find a bottle of wine and a basket of fresh salad greens from the garden! Furthermore they insisted on compensating our cost for the inconvenience. This property was everything we expected and more. We give this one five stars!

Great stay!

This place was great. It was very clean and very well stocked. Perfect for a couple. The location is perfect, can get to Charleston in about 15 mins and Folly beach in 10. Me and my girlfriend were able to go and explore and see so much but not have to drive a lot and that’s nice. The garden in the backyard is absolutely beautiful and you can tell they put a lot of hard work into it. The screened in porch was a relaxing spot to end long days of exploring downtown Charleston and walking the magnolia(a must do) and cypress gardens. Would definitely stay here again… oh and the shower totally lives up to the hype!

Wedding Trip to Charleston

We came to attend a friend’s wedding and the quaint little cottage was the perfect place for us to stay. The weather was perfect and the screened in porch with hammock swing was well attended while watching the birds and squirrels play in a beautifully landscaped yard.

Love this little cottage

I highly recommend this cute little cottage. It is a perfect place for a couple to visit the Charleston area. Close to everything. It is clean, well appointed, convenient to everything and the hosts are wonderful! They care about their guest and want them to feel at home. We really enjoyed our stay and will go back.

Great place for our honeymoon!

We had a great time staying here on our honeymoon. Everything was very convenient to get to, only 15 minutes to downtown or the beach. The park pass was great for getting to the best secluded beach spot. We loved sitting on the screen porch during the thunderstorms!

Golf weekend

Stayed here for an extended weekend and LOVED it. Very quiet and private. Used the fire pit one night and loved it. We Ubered into town every night which was super easy. Bed was very comfy and the bungalow was spotless- we hope to stay here again for another golf vacation.

Looking forward to a 2nd visit

This bungalow is perfect in every way. Conveniently located for access to Folly Beach, to everything on the historic peninsula, and to events at The Citadel, it is in a tranquil, quiet area of James Island. All the accommodations and furnishings in the bungalow are very nice: from the full kitchen, the spacious washer & dryer-equipped bathroom, to the comfortable bed cooled by a ceiling fan. We look forward to staying there again in the future and will recommend the bungalow to friends.

Folly a deux

We very much enjoyed our stay in this charming bungalow on James Island. We would have wished for warmer weather the first week we were there (mid Feb) but this last week of Deb the weather has warmed up and we used the screened in porch as well as the chairs outside. The hostess was charming and helped advise us on placed to visit and restaurants. Five stars!

Home away Home

A short drive across the bridge to downtown. If you have an active day in the city the bath shower has the greatest water pressure with added jets. The studio unit sits in a residential area behind the main house on picturesque acreage.

Clean and Cozy

The property is in a great location. Very clean and unique bungalow. The bathroom is nice and the shower was awesome. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is the bed was not very comfortable. Would recommend adding a mattress topper or else it’s very stiff. Other than that we had a great stay.

Awesome spot!

Clean, modern with a European flair, so very quiet at night, comfortable bed, and a Starbucks in walking distance. Also EV friendly with a 12A outlet next to the driveway.

Visiting my son

Had an awesome time (as always) while visiting my son. Loved having the screened in porch for morning coffee and evening cocktails. Was able to cook for my son, his girlfriend, and a roommate one evening and then enjoy sitting around the fire pit. Truly a great property and location. Only downside is the amount of money I will now have to pay to build a screened in porch at home ;)

Ve4 nice cottage for two.

Enjoyed everything about the cottage. Very well decorated and everything you need. Seems like a great second home or vacation home for anyone. The entire house was warm and inviting. Totaled loved the indoor shower with the multiple jets and overhead, lights out. Had an outdoor fire almost every night, very relaxing.
