Lot of nasty people on the property. Smell of marijuana pretty steadily (around the main entrance and in halls) and dog pee in the elevator and floors that was there for a long while( almost dry and sticky).

Housekeeping issue

Our check in was 3:00pm and we arrived at 3:30pm and our room was not ready. They advised the room would be ready in 45 mins. We needed to change as we were going to a concert that evening. We ended up changing in a room that’s not given to guest just to change. After we got ready we checked again to see the room was ready, still the room was not ready after 45 mins. They did give us okay to leave our belongings in the room. When we returned back to the hotel room, we found hair in both bathrooms and a used washcloth. We found dirty socks behind the bedroom door and missing toiletries items such as hand soap and body wash (thank goodness we brought our own). The next morning, we were awaken by a couple chasing each other in a car. After getting dressed, we found a cockroach crawling in the kitchen. After we made several complaints, they refunded our money for the room. They apologized for the inconvenience and asked that they give them another chance. They just need better housekeeping and pest control. I am told they used housing for people from FEMA due to the storm in North Carolina. The hotel has potential just need to work on those issues

Good location and stay!

When I first arrived the outside is as described. I loved the nice siting area outside. When it wasn't raining, people were enjoying it. Thankful for the elevator! When I got to my room, I was impressed with the nice appliances. There was a circular burn mark on the kitchen floor. There was adequate enough silverware and the such to cook and eat with. The bedroom is small, but was what i needed for my stay. There two tv's one in the bedroom and the other in the living room. Had a nice table with chairs to sit at in the kitchen and a nice couch as well. The balcony was nice to use when it wasn't raining! The bed could use a new bedframe. The frame was too loose and wobbly for my liking. I would get rid of the headboard or mount it, so it doesn't hit the wall. The lamp was broken, the light turned on, but the bulb wasn't properly attached to the lamp itself. Overall, I was happy with my stay and will definitely stay here again in my furture visits to Charlotte.

This hotel is the definition of false advertisement. It’s so bad that I had to go and obtain medical attention due to the stay. I had to take pictures to send to the manager and ask for my money back. It was very bad. There were stains on the "kitchen chairs", the seat cushions did not match, there was hair in the shower and imbedded in the towels, and the sheets broke me out into a rash when I woke up in the morning

Disgusting

My family and I arrived at 3 PM for check-in were told the room was not ready and being cleaned so with our young children, we had to sit in the parking lot and wait for an hour. Upon entering the room, there was a terrible smell. the floors were sticky, and it was not clean at all. The couch had several red and yellow stains. Not sure if it was blood, but it was disgusting. I would not allow my children to even sit on it or at the kitchen table as those chairs also had stains. The windowsill in the living room had a large amount of red gunk all over it. The bathroom smelled like mold and had continuous water seeping up through the hardwood floor. There was a razor blade stuck in between the mirror and the wall in the bathroom mind you I have two children with me we were on a trip for my child’s birthday from out of state and it was the most horrible trip I’ve ever been on in my life. We tried to get a different room, there were not available we were told we would get a full refund and still have not received that there were no other hotels available in the area for the weekend either. I have never experienced such an cleanly hotel room to the point that I felt unsafe utilizing any furniture or bathroom the very least that could be done would be the full refund as promised we were in room one 02. I’m sure you can go in there and still see the things that I am explaining

Worst Experience

My booking was cancelled 4 hours after check-in after coming inside of the establishment and talking to the person at the front desk. I was told that there were no rooms available for me and my company to stay in and even asked the clerk if we could leave and come back to a ready room, of which they assured we could. Subsequently, after leaving for the Kendrick Lamar concert, I received a message saying that my booking was cancelled because of an overbooking issue. This left me having to not only drive about 5 hours from Virginia to Charlotte, but also drive almost 3 hours at 11PM back towards Raleigh, just to have a place to rest for the night at and not getting there until 2:40 in the morning.

Never got to check in. Arrived at the property, waited in line 40 minutes to get to the desk, just to be told they had “overbooked” so they decided to cancel my reservation last minute. They claimed someone had contacted me within the last hour; yet I was standing there in line the entire time. Festivals in the area so no other rooms available anywhere else, now in town with nowhere to stay.
