Seahouses (2 miles) still has a working harbour with trips to the Farne Islands. Horse riding, golf and bowling can be found nearby. Bamburgh Castle is a short drive with a romantic beach. Alnwick (12 miles) famous for its castle and water gardens. Shop, pub and restaurant 600 yards.
