My best friend and I stayed for one night for her 60th birthday. We arrived around 3.15pm and had a lovely walk around the local area followed by drinks before a delicious meal in the restaurant. This 500 year old pub is an absolute delight. Perfectly adapted to modern needs. I can’t remember a hotel stay where the staff were friendlier or more helpful. The accommodation, in the modernised stable block, is perfect for a comfortable stay, and both our evening meal and breakfast were of the highest quality. Strongly recommended.
