There are several farm shops and eateries within 1-3 miles, and fishing ponds, a golf course and a riding school are all within 5 minutes’ drive. Chatsworth House is just a 15-minute trip, as are Haddon Hall and Hardwick Hall, and the nearest town of Matlock is full of attractions and amenities: there is a beautiful park, the attractions of Matlock Bath and the Heights of Abraham (a hilltop park), as well as a popular golf course and antique shops. Bakewell, with its bustling farmers market, boutique shops and riverside activity, is just 20 minutes away, and is a perfect gateway to both the Dark Peak and White Peak areas that this stunning region is known for.
