Basketball stay

I came for my son basketball tournament it was clean and very good area we were around every thing the only down fall is the fire department close so you hear a lot of calls but besides that I loved it

Friendly staff, fine hotel

Surprisingly great experience, mostly because the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We didn't expect to get a very early check in but the friendly staff member at the desk made it happen. As other commenters note, Fanny and Xavier in the breakfast room are just wonderful -- and knowledgable. They gave us great advice on getting the train to O'Hare. Food options for breakfast are a cut above what you usually get in these kinds of hotels: hot options that change every day. We didn't particularly notice noise from the fire trucks across the street (but we got a room on the 17th floor). Only complaints: way too small closet for 2 people and very little drawer space. Room was nice a spacious so why be stingy with space to store clothes? We'll definitely return next time we need to be in Chicago!
