The room was spacious, especially the bathroom. The vanity area was big enough for 4 people to comfortably store and place toiletries. The staff was so friendly and kind. The hotel is very clean. There were plenty of outlets and the beds were very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the rooftop terrace. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of downtown too!

Huge breakfasts, very friendly staff, very clean room and bathroom. Refrigerator and coffee maker terrific. Wonderful that it's 3 blocks from Lake Michigan and a small beach. Homeless men hanging out near the hotel was uncomfortable, but that's life in the city!

I stayed at this hotel to be close to The Riviera for a concert. It was a fantastic location, a really nice hotel, and a killer deal ($)! I’ll definitely be staying here anytime I come to Chicago.

A/C unit issue

First night of 2 night reservation the A/C unit began making screeching noise at 2 am and off and on multiple times. Called front desk at 730 am and they found me a different room and no further issues. Shared video of noise with gal at front desk. Nice staff and the breakfast is nice too especially the waffle maker!!

When I initially got there, I could not sign in until late that evening. All of the sites were down when they finally put me in a room. My son and I walked in and there was a strong bad smell in Rome that smelled like somebody had urinated on the floors. They took me to another room in that room was basic but OK. I was charged the $150 fee three times in my checking account which made several things in that account bounce because that was my account that I just kept my little extras on and it took several days for me to get my money back from the bank that was the holding fee. I was extremely disappointed by that
