Ok not my favorite

Hotel was very eco friendly to the point of inconvenience. Bathroom toilets would have to be flushed three or four times, the lights did not stay on if your card was not in the wall by the door. So if you left and somebody else was in the room, you would be short a card if there were three of you. We only received two room keys needed three. Water pressure and shower was absolutely awful. It looked like it was a nice upscale shower, but was actually very low. Water felt hard to be cleaned off in that shower. Didnt like tv remote and delay when change. Pillows were so small that I had to ask for six extra pillows. Beds moved around and made noise.. and the curtain were too long. It would not shut the entire way to block out the light. One at the bar stood there for about four minutes while the bartender sat and talked to two people that were there. There was nobody else there just a couple he was talking to. And stood there waiting to buy a can of soda for about 5 minutes just for a soda. Breakfast was nice, only used it 1 day. Staff at the dinning area was nice. Lastly the front desk check in person needed to speak up. He seemed very nice, but with two other people on each side of me also getting checked in I could not hear what he was saying. Was trying to decipher how the parking work and everything else he was telling me, but could not hear him speaking..

Brand new hotel, great location, breakfast included which was fresh and had lots of options, nice rooftop bar, decent gym as well. If I’m back in Chicago I’ll be booking here!

TV did not work. Was told that it was a problem with the system for everyone and would be fixed in 10 minutes. An hour later I called again and was told the engineer would come to our room next. The engineer never came. No follow up from anyone else. The TV did not work until the next day.

The facility itself is beautiful and the well kept. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast included in our stay was surprisingly wonderful. A decent variety of foods and thoughtful for vegetarians. Coffee was decent as well. The employees are truly the stars of the show. Everyone from check in to bellhop to check out to housekeeping. Nicolas has helpful with checking in! Samuel was so kind and helpful with our luggage. Staff at breakfast were efficient and so pleasant the entire time. I’m impressed and we will definitely be back.
