First of all, the hotel looks nice from the front, is well positioned in the city centre, clean and modern. Our room however, at the rear, looked out on a city garbage collection area, with a car park above it and then an office block above that. We stayed for 4 nights and couldn’t open our curtains. The noise from the garbage dump started at c5am disturbing our sleep. We asked to change rooms to the front of the hotel but the trainee responsible for reception when we arrived wasn’t empowered to arrange that for us. I believe had we been allocated a front room, our review would have been very different as there was much to like. Christchurch is a wonderful city.

This hotel is ideally situated - close to the river, restaurants and the Botanical Gardens Our room was spacious and the very reasonably priced breakfast was delicious - eaten in a delightful top floor restaurant Parking cost only $10 and was just around the corner The staff were friendly and efficient

Great location with spacious rooms. We unfortunately didn't get the brilliant view through that big round window that you see when making the booking. We got a window with the entire bottom half obscured by the KFC building next door. We thankfully could still see the tops of buildings and the sky through the top half. But really disappointing.

City stay in Christchurch.

Great hotel in the heart of Christchurch. Had a really new feel to it. Room spotlessly clean , bed comfortable with crisp clean linen. Good size room and bathroom. Shower powerful and hot. Roof top bar looked good but wasn’t open on the nights we stayed unfortunately. (Sun/Mon) Would definitely stay again.

Relaxing weekend away

Excellent modern hotel right in the centre of Christchurch. Beside Cathedral Square and around the corner from Riverside Market and The Crossing developments. Large room, comfortable bed, and very quiet.
