Very comfortable stay in a nice clean environment. Reception staff were great friendly and very helpful. Parking was easy out front and rooms were spacious with great views. Walk around the corner get a curry and a haircut what more could you want. HoiPolloi was a bit disappointing no more said. First room we stayed in had a bad damp smell so they kindly moved us.

It did what we wanted which was a bed for the last couple nights of our long holiday. Comfortable and lovely. Could do more of the breakfast buffet though for the price we paid though. But the staff on our first night of arriving were great. We arrived late due to a trip on our first night and kitchen were closing but they accommodated us with some food. We really appreciated that. Thanks

I was put on the first floor in an "accessible" room. There was a constant rattle and loud noise coming from the wall. When I complained, they said it was some sort of extractor fan thing - it was so loud and made the stay very unenjoyable.

Excellent. Really nice facilities, clean and modern. Extra nice were the liquid soaps, shampoo, conditioner and moisturizers. Super convenient spot close to everything. Really fantastic having Hoi Polloi restaurant at the bottom, great food, great coffee. And lovely friendly helpful staff all around. Also nice touch for me was the lobby and all the beautiful plants everywhere.

Okay option for Christchurch

Good location in the Center of the city Walking distance to lots of places Check in was smooth and reception gave welcome brownie Room is not big but for the price it is okay Cleaning staff needs a bit more attention to details Some of the reception ladies are very robotic with the daily job not very warm friendly or at least hospitality

The Carnmore Hotel in Christchurch was lovely. Although I wish it were closer to a more walkable area, it was still convenient thanks to easy parking and in-and-out privileges. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the hotel itself was clean. We enjoyed breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. The only downside was the shower situation... the bathroom's design led to poor water drainage and some flooding. Overall, it was a really nice stay!
