Excellent place to stay. It is away frim everything else on the island, so rental car is a must if you want to travel and see the sights. Snorkeling off the beach was very nice

The bartenders were amazing people to chat with, we may return just to see them again! The resort is on a beautiful tropical landscape that has breathtaking views from the ocean side rooms.

Absolute dream!! Facilities were great, room is EXACTLY like the pictures. Quiet stay, which made it more enjoyable for us to relax. The staff was PHENOMENAL!! Will definitely stay here again!

Clean and friendly staff staff. Probably a bit low on staff currently and under some remodeling. Overall we were satisfied with our stay. Great location, very remote, which is what we wanted. Beautiful views and right on the beach.

We visited Divi Carina in 2024 and then again in 2025. Wow big differences.First we walk in to check in and no chips, we loved the chips, just rum punch now. New guests cannot get a reservation at Tuscany's,very sad for them, you need to fix this.I heard many guests say the food is terrible and I will not come back here.The food in Waves was always cold and the chapping dish lids would not stay up, really why-FIX THIS... There are so many bees at the pool bar and someone is going to have a issue if they are allergic and no epi-pen, it could be the end of Divi Carina. Last year and this year the hot tub did not work, cold water. The sound system at the pool bar did not work, they had 1 speaker and a guest asked if they could play steel drum music and the bartender said I don't have time to deal with that right now. On our last day we went to pool bar for lunch before leaving and the fountain drink dispenser didn't work, are you kidding me. We like our room straightened up every day, good on all counts except 1 day, no one ever came in. All the beach lounge chairs disappeared into the first floor patios, signage saying to not remove chairs. On Saturday 02-22-25, the DJ finished and there was 1 bartender, why not 2?Mandy held it together like a pro but the savages were coming for her with all they had.I put my arm around her and said you're doing a great job. For the hot temps, why not have a small ice cream freezer near the gift shop, there is way more but I've ran out of space

We had a wonderful stay, the food was good.The choices of dining was limited , the divi’s only restaurant was open 3 nights of the week, and the choices they gave at the buffet was limited, they served the same choices each day for dinner. Lunch was only at the outdoor bar and grill , which was limited and same menu everyday, also what they showed on-line was not what was served at the buffet, no carving station , seafood limited. Other than the food everything else was wonderful. Very relaxing and beautiful.

While the property setting is lovely, the building itself needs maintenance. The rooms are large, clean and have great views. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food options are limited, only 2 bars and when 1 is closed is very inconvenient. Far from town and must take taxis to activities, no shuttle provided.

Loved our stay at Divi ! Wasn't able to give a 5 star rating due to a couple items: Pool was not heated, hot tub was cold and little maintenance of mini golf course. Food and staff were exceptional! I would describe the experience at Divi as a boutique all-inclusive. Much more personalized attention then that of a chain all-inclusive. Fewer dining options, but the food offered was very good. The evening dinner at Tuscany was 5 star!! Bartenders, housekeeping, front desk and all other staff we interacted with were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Thanks for a relaxing, stress free vacation !

This resort was great for the most part. Good value for sure! Beds were hard to sleep on, even bruised my hip. Hot tub was not even warm. Food was good, not particularly great. We did have a good time here. And would go back. Drinks were amazing! Definitely rent a car.
