The worst hotel stay ever
This was the worst experience I have ever had in a hotel. Upon check-in, I had to pay $250 per room for incidentals which was not mentioned on any website. That $500 was more than I paid for the two rooms plus fees and taxes altogether otherwise. On check-in, we were handed a paper that said many of the rooms were having problems with the television and Internet problems and to let them know if that happened. Of course, our rooms were affected. One of the two rooms did not have a working television or telephone or stove. The other room did not have a working stove or microwave. All of the appliances have zip ties on their power cords so they could not be used including the coffee maker. There was trash, left in the bathroom and the bed sheets were dirty. None of the dishes were clean in the drawers. One of the rooms had been supplied with two open bars of soap, which is clearly unsanitary. Nut room also had two lightbulbs out on the outside walls of the room. Staff made the keys and active for both of my two rooms at 10 AM thankfully we found that out when one of our party went outside and couldn’t use their key. Check out is at 11 AM and when I told this staff, she just said they shouldn’t be. I assured her they were and she said that’s interesting. The ice machine was broken so they handed us a Ziploc sandwich size bag of ice they put in my hand without gloves. The breakfast consisted of fruit and empty containers for apparent warm food empty for 55 minutes. No restitution.
